Today was cardio and I did another programmed workout on my treadmill. I chose a 35 minute lower body workout. It was hard and fun. It had 3 minute intervals and then it tells you to do a lower body exercise for a certain amount of reps. Weird, but I did it and it was fun. The 3 minute TM intervals were tough, like 7% incline and at a speed of 4.5 mph. At some points it took me up to 9 and 10% incline. I had to turn my speed down to 4.0 mph and sometimes took the incline down to 4-5%. My legs were burning big time.
My endurance sucks. I'm finding I need more of a warmup time, these programmed workouts give you 2 minutes warmup and then it gets you right into the program. So next time I'll start the treadmill and do a 5 minute warmup and then start the programmed workout.
