Today may be a rest day, I'm not sure. I still have yoga x on my agenda. Yesterday was legs and back and I did my 3rd run of the week. Total time was 67 min and I burned 983 calories. I'm running to the grocery store and I think I will take my dog the bark park. She's been kind of needy lately and I think it may be time to get her a playmate. I don't know if I'm ready for another dog yet. I still miss my Boris like crazy....

Debbie- I hope you had a great interview!!!!

Good morning to all the lovely ladies that follow.

Theresa

This morning I started with Amy's 10 minute solution 5 Day Get Fit Kickbox and fat blast intervals and burned 192 calories, then I did Kelly Coffey's Muscle Definition Premix "N.Y.C. Two" 85 minutes burning 517 calories, I then did the 5 Day get fit abs and power yoga segments burning 123 calories. Total calories burned today was 845 154 max hr, 50% fat.
We have a friends weidding to go to this afternoon and it is out of town.
I will check back later.

Theresa, nice calorie burn:) Two dogs are a lot of work. They are like children, if one is misbehaving the other tries to do the same LOL But I think they do enjoy each other's company.

Morning maniacs -

This morning I did Christi Taylor's Fit To Dance. Workout was 56" and I burned 520 calories. I also did Evening Bath Yoga 20" with Hemalaya Behl. Still need more stretching....but ran out of time and had to go get ready for work.

This was the first time I did this DVD and I really didn't care for it. I'll try it again though, as maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it. It got really good reviews at VF....oh well.

Have great workouts everyone and a fun weekend. I work all weekend.

The interview went well! Really well. I can see myself working there, but the hourly rate is $1.50 less then what I'm making now, plus the hours are about 15 hours less. That's a huge cut. However, if I get called in for a second interview, I will try to see what they can do for me. The position is part time, but Margaret (the lady I would be working for) said it could very possibly turn into more hours and eventually full time. This company is growing by leaps and bounds. Some suggested that I learn about the company before my interview and I did. At the end of the interview she asked if we had any questions and I asked a question about all the retail websites they have. I also mentioned that I was impressed that the company doubled their retail sales from 2005 to 2008. I think she was impressed that I knew that.

It was an interview with all the candidates. There were 4 of us. Margaret just had us go around the table and tell her our strengths, weaknesses, and such things like that. I was the best dressed person there. One girl came in FLIP-FLOPS! FLIP-FLOPS!!! WTF??? The other two were in slacks and not too dressy. I wore a brand new pinstriped suit that I bought at Kohls. It's very stylish. Got new shoes too. The company is casual wear, but hey, how was I suppose to know? And I can't figure out why the others dressed so uninformal.

Anyways, if I will be considered for a 2nd interview, I'll know by next week. I really want to work there but I know we can't take that kind of cut in pay. Really bums me out.

Today I did cardio. Chose Amy's Kickbox Surge but I only did the 5 kickboxing sections and the abs. Loved the ab work. Should have done the whole thing twice. I think it should have been longer. I liked how Amy did everything with a med ball.

HR STATS:
1 hr. 3 minutes total
7 minutes below zone
29 minutes inzone
27 minutes above zone
467 calories burned

Going for a motorcycle ride with DH. Going up to the lake!

Debbie, I could never understand why people cannot have the respect to dress for a job inteview. Honestly I think it says something about your work ethiic. To me just applying for jobs on line leaves a lot to be desired in comparison to meeting the person. I hope that things workout and you can get the money that you need. It is hard to take a pay cut.
BTW nice Calorie burn with Kickbox surge. Did you skip the surges then??

We are back from the wedding. I felt a little sad because I gave the groom some cookbooks to help him with his fat loss. He was doing so well, but gained it back:confused:

I forgot to mention the workout sense I was in a hurry this morning. I loved it. Kelly did a good job. I do think that she went a little low on the chest presses, to the point where shoulders will take over. But of course I did not do that. I am curious what the other double workout is like. This one obviously worked bodyparts out of order. Not sure what made it a little longer either. This is the second time through the abs segment. I have been tempted to do it twice. But then I think how much my abs were burning at these 25-50 rep segments and I back off LOL This is good to me. I know I will do it two times soon:D Funny she tells you you are done and then you are doing plank work:0

Morning Maniacs -

I did Kelly's new Cardio Blast Step & Plyo Premix. Workout was 55" and I burned 524 calories. I did not feel like working out at all this morning and contemplated staying in bed.....but I forced myself again. I enjoyed the music in this, although I didn't have a great workout, as my DH kept interupting me to help him send a resume on the computer.

Have a great Sunday everyone. I'm working today.

Usually Sunday's are my rest days but I have to get up early tomorrow to take my mom to the doctors and won't have time to workout. So tomorrow will be my rest day instead.

Today was STS Meso 2, Week 1, Disc 14, Legs. This is a Tri-Set workout. I actually really liked it. I hate working legs but for some reason I really enjoyed this workout. I am going to be sore tomorrow. And I can't believe how sore my upper body is from my workout on Friday.

Tri-Set #1
Squats - 30's/10 reps
One Leg Elevated Lunges - 20#/10 reps
Deadlifts Wide Stance - 25's/10 reps
***Did this 3 times. 1 minutes rest between each tri-set.

Tri-Set #2
Static Lunge - 15's/10 reps
Plie Squats Alternating Hand - 30#/10 reps
One Leg Slide Back Lunges with Paper Plate - 12's/10 reps
***Did this 3 times. 1 minutes rest between each tri-set.

Tri-Set #3
Stiff Legged Deadlift on Platform - 25's/10 reps (This was suppose to be barbell, but I used dumbbells instead)
Side Slide Lunges with Paper Plate - 15#/10 reps
Squats Narrow Stance - 30's/10 reps
***Did this 3 times. 1 minutes rest between each tri-set.

Calf Raises - Started out with 30#, dropped to 20#. One leg at a time, 20 reps each leg each set. There were 3 sets. She varied the rep counts.

My legs are still jello! Love it!

Diane Sue - Yes, I skipped the surges from yesterday's workout. Kind of missed them but it was still a good workout. It's a premix that's on the DVD.

I did a workout this morning even though it is usually my rest day. This is supposed to be a recovery week but I will do some workouts up through the end of the week when we are going out of state to visit my Dad. He turns 81 this month. I will have to get done in the morning as I have a mammogram scheduled.
Workout was just cardio. I did Kelly Coffey's Kickbox knockout mix 53 minutes and burned 518 calories. My Max Hr was 159.

Debbie, I like the trisets myself. Thanks on the premix on Amy's Kickbox surge. I will have to check that one out.

Lora, it looks like you got a good workout anyway.
