Morning all!

Well, I forgot to change my alarm from yesterday so I missed getting up to work out this morning. I guess I'll be doing it this evening.

Just wanted to get us started, and will bbl for more!

Good Morning Shelly and all that follow!

Shelly:
Thanks for getting us started today. I was on line trying to find the HRM strap and the time got away from me. Your birthday is the 28th of this month, mine is the 28th of next month! ( although I am much much older! LOL)..now shake that bad mood!

I did the newest I-Tread this morning..( #27 Drills). I still can't do the last drill at the speed that Grace recommends. I guess that will be my goal in seeing if I am improving. I just ordered a new strap for my HRM. Needed a smaller size Yeah! :)

Jennifer:
So nice to have you here! I am addicted to Dancing too! Although each season seems to get worse for some reason...the first 4 were great..

Shannon:
Sorry to hear about your work issues..:( ..There's nothing as awful as a bad job. We spend too much of our day at work to have it be miserable. Cudos to you for completing that workout even after a bad day!

Tneah:
Thanks so much! I am so excited to see what's in there! Just like a little kid..so sorry about your hurting! Maybe a dip in a jacuzzi./whirlpool would help?

Lainie:
Target again? LOL..you are tempting yourself too much! We are probably going to get the same breed as Kelsey and Clancy..Wire Fox Terriers. We have had them for over 23 years now..( 3 total). Some how you don;t seem like an "Elaine" to me..Lainie fits you perfectly!

Have a wonderful day!

Deb:)

Good Morning Melters.

Today I must confess I didn't get to do HSTA last night, I had a phone call and it went on beyond my point of working out so I had time to get ready for The Biggest Loser then Dancing With The Stars.
Priscilla, Marlie, and Kristi were the best. The Hairspray (Marissa) could take it though.

Shannon-I truly understand about work issues. For me, blocking myself emotionally from it has helped. Plus, I don't associate with anyone outside of work as well. I used to but learned to seperate. You can get through this and you will more than survive it. Think positive.

Tneah-Hope you got enough info. from me.

Lainie-I love Target.

Shelley-How are you? Has your snow melted yet?

Deb-Have a Great Day!! What is I-tread?

Have a Great Day!!

Happy Hump Day, Melters -

That nasty, foul, rotten proposal we've been working on is DONE. Finally. It was FedExed out last night, so now nobody can make any more changes. Yay! Maybe work will get back to normal now. Although now we have to catch up on everything else that's been on hold ....

I did L&G last night - first time in a long time for that one. It was fun.

Shelley - admit it. You like evening workouts better. I don't blame you one little bit. :7

Deb - now that you told us when your birthday is, you're going to have to tell us how old you'll be. ;) It sounds like you've got a great challenge ahead of you, to match that final iTread drill.

Jennifer - thanks for the work wishes. Yes, I'll get through it! Hmmm. Maybe you can do HSTA tonight?

Morning again~

Deb - that's great that you need a smaller HRM strap!! And I wanna know how much older "much" older is:p

Jennifer - nope, snow isn't gone yet. And we may get a bit this afternoon/evening.

Shannon - no, I don't prefer it actually. I like getting it out of the way. I'm glad your proposal is finally over and done with.

Morning Everyone!

Went to bed hurting like the dickens, woke up hurting like the dickens for heavens sake! My whole body feels banged up. I need a good soak in some epsom salts and a massage, maybe I will have to do that this week, massages always feel so indulgent to me, and a waste of money for some reason. I mean, I am going to start hurting again as soon as I work out so whats the point?:) Will pop some anti-inflammation stuff and see what happens.
It is in the 70's here now, which is nice, I call it the "calm before the storm"....it will hit the 100's in the next few months. Whew. Oh, and we are interviewing a new captain for our boat this next week! :7 Such a relief. It turns out Lainie and TK were not far off in calling him captain Morgan. His nickname around the docks is "Captain Vodka".x( We have had enough of this person.
Today is cardio only if I like, I might go to the gym and work back though, my period starts pretty soon, and I want to make sure to get the weights in this week before "Flo" visits.

Deb, that one sounds like fun..the itread. I cannot wait until you find your perfect pup. You must post pics for sure! That is so cool you had to buy a smaller strap! Obviously you are one melty babe.

Shelley, have a great evening workout! It is beyond me how you all can workout so early in the am...it really is beyond me. I tried exercising at 7am on Monday and had the worst workout ever. I get up at 6:30am, but sit with my coffee, chat with you all, answer emails, watch the news, think about my day for an hour before I get started!

Shannon, yeah! So happy to hear your work woes are over for now. What a relief huh? I haven't done Legs and Glutes forever, but remember it being very leg press friendly--yuk. Gosh I hate those leg presses for some reason. Sure you don't want me to send you some goodies?

Jen, I emailed you, I need your address, not email, the your house address. I have never watched DWS...is it good? I like the Bravo shows like Top Chef and Project Runway.

Hi to Leanne (do you want stuff girlie?)Lainie, who is probably wrestling with her boys right now....BBL to see whats shakin'...

:7

Shelley - oh, okay. Maybe you should tell your boss you'll be in to work later, so you can get your workout in at a more human hour. ;) Do ya think he's open to flex hours?

Tneah - go get that massage. Maybe that, combined with a good dose of ibuprofen, will chase the aches away for a few days, at least. No, no - L&G only has leg presses at the beginning. It's not that bad. Gosh - thanks for offering the goodies... can you post the link to your website again? We've been so busy I didn't have time to look the other day.

Good morning, everyone!

I just caught up with yesterday's check-ins, and hope that today is better for everyone!

Alright, I have just two more days of work to get through, and then I'll be on spring break for a week -- hooray! Of course, I have to grade a set of essays by tomorrow, and I'm feeling so unmotivated to do so. I also have to get some reading/prep work done for two of my classes. In one of those classes, I'm teaching _The Kite Runner_ for the first time. Have any of you read it? It's a really powerful book that the students really seem to like, but I'm barely staying one step ahead of the class in terms of my prepping. Sorry for venting again!

Today I'm going to do the Abs Diet HIIT workout, followed by GS Back/Sh/Bis. I'm still a bit sore from GS Chest/Tris on Monday -- all those push-ups really get to me! What workouts will everyone else be doing?

Shelley -- Hey there, Almost B-Day Girl! It sounds like you needed the extra sleep this morning, so try not to sweat the missed workout (pun intended).;-) You do need to have that SO get his priorities in order so he can take you out to celebrate your b-day!

Deb -- Isn't Pure Strength great? I ended up ordering the Troy Lite last night, so I'm really excited to use it. Like you, I can't wait to see what that new piece of pull-up equipment is, and I'm hoping that it won't be too big or costly! I keep telling my DH that that should be the last piece of equipment I'll need to buy for STS! I'll be off for one week for spring break, which I am *so* looking forward to! Will you have any time off soon? I'm glad that you're excited about getting the new puppy!

Jennifer -- Glad you're joining our melty group! Will you get to do HSTA today since you didn't get to it yesterday? Do you usually work on in the evenings? I got the slanted risers for STS, too, but I haven't even used them yet.

Tneah -- Would you really send us some beauty goodies?! Are you sure?! I love trying out new things, but don't want you to feel pressured to send anything. If it won't be a pain, let me know and I can send you my address again. You are just so sweet and generous! Sorry to hear that you're still feeling so sore today! Definitely treat yourself and go get that massage! And that just sucks about Capt. Vodka! (How funny, in a sad way, though, that Lainie and TK weren't too far off the mark when they called him Cpt. Morgan!) How cool that "Tneah" is just your nickname!

Shannon -- Sorry to hear that yesterday was such a nasty day for you! How great that that proposal is done so you can get back to normal. Any news on the job-hunting front?

Lainie -- Buying stuff for Easter shouldn't count as shopping! So what is Packrat like? How are the boys doing? Are they getting excited for the Easter Bunny?

Leanne, hope I caught you in time! Yes, send your home address one more time, I lost it in the shuffle. And I wouldn't have offered if I didn't want to do it. Believe me.;)

Hi everyone.

I'm having a very lazy morning. Well, not as bad as yesterday, I've already done some laundry, some dishes, and cleaned the half-bathroom. Still, we got going leisurely this morning (well, the boys were up before 7 in spite of not having school, of course) but we've done everything pretty slowly. The bad news is our heater is on the fritz again. x( x( x( x( x( I wonder if that's enough frowny faces to convey how I feel about it. I've called the same plumber dude but he hasn't called back yet. x( x( x( x( x(

So we're cold again, so far the temp's only down to 61 in here, but that can be pretty chilly for an indoor temp.

I haven't done my exercise yet--need to do some upper body work today. Probably start setting up for it when I get off here.

Deb, yeah, I've never felt like an Elaine and I've only been called that on certain jobs--my last job I went ahead and told them to call me Lainie. Elaine sounds more professional, perhaps, but it's weird to answer to it. Now I'm mainly called Mommy, of course.

Jennifer, HSTA had to much dread factor for me--I ended up selling it though I like the other two high step workouts. I like to do them on my Bosu.

Shannon, congrats on getting out that proposal. Hope you get some breathing room now.

Shelley, sorry you're still dealing with the snow. I'm glad we aren't since the heater is broken. It's just raining a lot here.

Tneah, I hope you take a rest day today--or maybe you need a whole rest week! I've never seen DWS either, but I don't watch reality tv much anyway. I've just never gotten into it much, except for occasional spurts of watching something or other. I prefer my tv to be an escape from reality!

Leanne, Packrat is kind of fun and addictive, though when I first tried it I thought it was boring. Not sure what changed. It's almost like a complicated game of Go Fish. That doesn't sound very challenging or intellectual, does it? Oh well, sometimes the brain needs a rest (not that mine gets challenged much lately anyway).

OK, bbl.

Sorry to hear about your "freeze-out" Lainie.:-( That sucks. I hate it when household stuff goes belly up.

I am so dang grumpy, my black countertops and floor were pristine last night, this morning? OMG, they appear as if they have never seen a mop or rag in a year...I get so mad at these floors, they stay clean looking for like 5 minutes.I am a PMS grouchy mess right now, sorry. And George is sitting here looking at me...he wants his walk and I do not feel like it. Ever have one of those days?

I did itread #4-60 minutes, plus chest/calves this AM. I didn't care for number 4 as much as the first three, something about the music didn't set well with me--too mellow or something, but the hill parts were great!
Still have to do arms and more cardio tonight, maybe by then I will feel better.

Shannon, the web site is www.strivectinsd.com let me know, then I can send both you and Leanne stuff today.:7 Ok, that made me feel better, making the world more beautiful, one face at a time!;)

Lainie, too bad you can't hole up in some little coffeehouse with a steaming latte and a good book today, while listening to the rain pitter patter....oh that sounds divine doesn't it? Maybe I need to take a "reading" break today.

Okay, BBL to check my emails for addresses!

Count me in to join Tneah and Lainie at that coffeehouse! That sounds absolutely heavenly right now! Sigh!

Lainie -- You poor thing with that heater! Did the guy call you back yet?

Tneah -- Seriously, any goodies you sent would be fun and fantastic! You really are such a sweetie!! Sorry about those floors and counters. It always seems like black shows much more dirt, doesn't it? Take a break today and enjoy it!:)

Alright, off to grab a quick bite to eat and then to do more work! I'll try to BBL!

Hello Melters.

It's sunny here, it almost feels like spring. One more full day of work. Right now, I have sticker shock due to a huge water bill.

Tonight, in a few, will be HSTA.

Tneah-my address will be to you shortly.

Shannon-Life is too short to be miserable at work, do you have options here? the economy here in MI stinks. My state only ranks if it is something negative.

BBL.

Shannon and Leanne:)

Got your addresses, and will happily ship out some things tomorrow.
Shannon, I totally understand about skin irritations, I have sensitive skin as well which is why I do not use the Strivectin on my face, it does contain peppermint essential oil, so everyone try it on a small patch first, I prefer using it on my neck, chest and any stretch marks I might have, plus it stimulates collagen, so heck slather it all over the body if you want! You can use on your face, that is how it got so famous, most people love the results using it on the face.
The strivectin serum should work very well for you Shannon (and everyone), its based on stem cells, and contains some pretty innovative ingredients. We were the first to introduce stem cell research into a skincare product. Apply to clean dry skin, let it dry a little, then take a very warm wet washcloth and press against the face for 30 seconds. Wait til skin is dry, then apply your regular moisturizer. This stuff will heal anything too by the way. DH had a scar on his face and put this serum on it, it disappeared. Shannon, I would recommend this particular product for your skin and Lainie as well. But put the Strivectin on your chest and neck, or give it to your mom to try!

The hylexin is great in the AM for puffy eyes and dark circles.

I cannot remember if I sent the Idebenol, its like Elizabeth Ardens "Prevage" only our ingredients are actually active. :) It shouldn't irritate sensitive skin, but please try on a small area and wait to see if it works for you. I slather this on as soon as I get up in the morning, it also protects the skin against free radicals-a major cause of premature aging.

Please feel free to email me with any questions about how to use, etc...kay? I sound like one of our ads huh?;)
