Thanks so much for remembering me and sending your smiling faces my way!
No pampering I am afraid, but I did receive a lovely origami flowers in a vase from my eldest daughter and a specially drawn and coloured picture from second daughter, a picture of me as the "Moon Princess" with distinctly purple nails, which is my fave new OPI shade: Purpleopolis!
I received calls from 4 family members in the UK, two cards (my family are hopeless!, and I'm one of them so I understand this and don't expect miracles!!!), BUT!.......a fab necklace and earrings set from my husband that I confess I had to buy and I told him it was from him because really, it would never occur to him to buy me jewelery and he wouldn't know what piece to get and I didn't want more CD shelves this year for my birhday!!!
We have a chocolate cake half made and we will blow out the candles and have fun as a family tomorrow night, because we always extend birthdays into a birthday week, cards and presents and cake arrive in bits and pieces and I'll take it as and when it comes!!!
So now I'm 39 and loving it. Never want to be twenty something again!!!
