Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, you guys are so thoughtful! Thank you! I post so sparingly anymore that I didn't anticipate anyone would remember. This is so nice!
I am 36 years old today. My DH is still in bed, so he is missing all these milestones that should be on videotape: my first steps, the first time I ate solid food as a 35+ person, and now - typing! I even had a LOL moment when my parents emailed me some photos of Dad tipping a canoe, fully clothed (in the Muskokas - nice!). Surely my first laugh should have been captured for posterity?! And surely my brother's first thought when he noticed Dad was about to tip, should have been, "I'd better go help him", NOT "I'd better get a picture of this!"???
I had plans to do BootCamp (maybe even twice!) to celebrate, but on Tuesday I did something to my lower back and right hip during interval 7 in IMAX2. It now feels like I have a wicked case of DOMS in my lower back and hip. It's the worst first thing in the morning, when all my muscles are stiffer, and feels better as they loosen up during the day. This is why I think it's only muscle stiffness, and not an injury. So, I'm trying to think of a birthday workout I can do, that won't exacerbate the situation.
Anyhow, my birthday mocha latte has made me a chattering machine, so I'll end this missive and get to figuring out my workout for the day.
There won't be cake (chocolate cupcakes have been purchased for the kids), but a friend is bringing over sweet potato pie (Mmmmmm).
Cheers!
Sandra
