This is for you, Trevor!

Since it's almost the end of the day, I can embarrass Trevor a bit more now ... }(

I know some of you ladies like to "pick on" him, and yes he is one of the only guys on here so there are times when he's an easy target, but he and I email all the time, and I really feel like I've gotten to know him well over the past year. He really is a good person. Yes, he's blunt and he'll never sugarcoat anything for you, but I appreciate that in a person. You may have noticed I'm not always the most ... um ... gooey sweet person myself ... LOL!! I think there's a fine line to be walked between being blunt and being just plain mean, and I've never known Trevor to cross that line with me. He's helped me a LOT with fitness and nutrition stuff, he's given me a distinctly male perspective when I've needed it, and he's been there as a friend who doesn't mind when I cyber cry on his shoulder or get whiny about things. Only a cyber friend so far, but maybe with the advent of these Cathe.com fitness camps we shall all meet in person one day?

Well, I'm done rambling. I just wanted to thank him again for starting this thread. As you ladies know, birthdays can be VERY emotional times, especially at "certain ages" for some of us. I'm closer to 50 now than 40 (and for some reason this really hit me this year, even though I was last year as well!!), and this past year has been one of many, many changes for me. Some good ... some not so good. But it's comforting and wonderful to know I have friends - both in "real" life and in cyber life! THANKS, TREV!! You know I love ya and secretly lust after you!

So ladies ... next time you feel like he's getting under your skin, just remember ... he's only a man (he-he), but he's one of the most honest and compassionate men you'll ever "meet". I really mean that.
