Oh my goodness, what a surprise, I just saw this thread now. How sweet of all of you to remember little Eric's birthday. I got all teary eyed reading your posts. After he wakes up from his nap I will tell him about how thoughtful you all were.

He really did enjoy his birthday. He sat at the table like a little adult (didn't want a high chair or a booster seat)with his chin level with the table top. He stretched his little head upward to see his cake and blushed while we all sang happy birthday to him(I think we caught him by surprise singing to him). Then we showed him how to blow out his candles(he almost blew them out)and all on his own he put his hands over his head and started clapping. It was soooo cute. Oh boy, here we go, another proud mom bragging about her child ;-)! I better stop here.

Again, thanks so much for the well wishes. Oh and yes, the 29th is his birthday (at 7 am, great memory you have Kathy).

My middle daughter Jessa - was born 12-29-29 at 7:00 am in the morning. Did your DH give you grief about having the baby before the end of the year so you didn't blow his tax deducation?? Mine did.
