This is a CRAZY BUSY week for us - and really crunch time for race prep!

Today I am only working til noon, then I have an appointment til 1, scarf down lunch, go get Collin, get to the dentist by 1:50 and we both have appointments for our cleanings. I really should go back to work but that is doubtful. I need to run to the grocery store, home to cook.

Tomorrow Chris is getting his wisdom teeth removed. It's also Election Day so I am off of work. We will get up early and leave the house early and go vote before being at the doctor's office by 730 am. Then I will be waiting on him hand and foot all day!:rolleyes:

Wednesday and Thursday are relatively normal, with the added PACKING FOR THE BEACH in the evenings!! Friday morning we leave bright and early for the Outer Banks!!

Eats MUST MUST MUST be super clean this week. Here is what the wo schedule will look like...

lisa, so glad p's party went well. how did you avoid eating all day long? i am sure the 3 candies did not mess you up.

so glad this week is starting, b/c then dh will be home (saturday night i hope)! we had a great afternoon yday - the weather was perfect, and we were all in better moods for it. nic walk to the park and bike rides and general running around. 1 piece dark choc for me yday, so that is a victory, and aidan and i have a new addiction - chickpeas, avacado and tomato with balsamic vinegar and a touch of olive oil - soooo good. today is school, run for me outside (even though i should be running errrands), chores, and swim tonight. keep it clean everyone. oh, and i am trying 1 more week of 1 bp per day. last week i did ps and bm2 twice thru for each body part. this week it will be gs and pub. my back is a bit sore from yday:D
 
:D:D:D Luv that title and it's so true. H-candy in back of the jeep and out of sight. I slept great all weekend. Today I have double trouble workout out. STS (mini bi and back then sts chest shoulders tri...80% 1RM :eek:

My weekend would have been 100% clean if I ate only organic, sugar free candy. :rolleyes: Meals were great.

Poor Chris it sounds like soup for dinner.
 
Nina thanks I think I'll try that (chickpeas, avacado and tomato with balsamic vinegar) salad. Good going with back DOMS...that's hard to do.

I NEED cardio & core today for sure ! It was NOT a clean eating weekend , but I'm ready to start back with it today ! :)

Am I glad the weekend is over! No workouts on Saturday or Sunday:( There was just too much going on. Eats were meh-too much candy, pizza, pancakes-you get the picture! But today is a new day! I need to get to the grocery store, workout, and then dance tonight. And Milla is starting Brownies today:) Workout will be total body again I think-will decide later.

Katie, you will do great! Your plan for the week looks awesome. What's the weather going to be like for your run?

Nina, glad top hear you had a good day yesterday. Your workouts look tough! ANd your salad sounds yummy!

Robin, candy in the jeep?! Awesome! The girls' is in the garage-not under my nose! Great job on the clean weekend!

Klaudia - I'm with you on the fresh start today ! I went to the store and got everything for a salad FULL of veggies ! I noticed lately my diet is lacking in them. :(

I took tap for years when I was a kid. I LOVED it ! :)

I'm waiting to see what Cathe posts. I just finished my workout & did CC#3 on the bike and med ball abs . :)

Good Morning Everyone!

This time change is killing me. I am usually okay in the fall but I can barely stay up at night. Then I was starving before my workout this morning. I am sure I will adjust in a couple of days.

Some good news today - I have an interview today at 5 and I received a call back from someone I interviewed with at the beginning of October. He wants to try to hire me in the next couple of weeks but he is waiting for an RFP (request for proposal) from the government and he needs mgmt approval to hire me. The RFP should come out this week and his manager is out until Wed. I really hope it works out but there are a couple of if's in there. I guess I can hope the interview this afternoon goes well.

This month's rotation will be FF January rotation. If Cathe posts something I really like, then I will start it next week.

Klaudia, how about muscle max as a workout?
Becky, I am waiting for Cathe's rotation too but I had to do something this morning since I have an interview later today.
Nina, great salad idea. I am not a fan of chickpeas (unless they are mashed like in Indian food) but I can sub white beans.
Robin, your workout is definitely double trouble.
Katie, if you need any meal suggestions for Chris let me know. He may not be able to eat soup until the Novocaine wears off.

Off to try to get some work done today.
 
Hey, Colleen, good luck at your interview! I hope whichever position is the best fit for you is the one that works out.

Becky, good job on the work out! I need to do that today, too. I skipped Saturday and Sunday. I should have worked out yesterday, but the couch sucked me in with a good book. Oh, and I'm the tap dancer. Klaudia's girls all take dance, but I don't think any of them tap. Do they, Kl?

Kl, does Danica do Brownies? I'm guessing no since she dances so much. Did you have fun with your family over for Halloween?

Robin, don't you love good sleep? It's the best thing ever, I think. And with the time change I got to lay around in bed even longer than usual yesterday morning.

Nina, you sound good today! Just a few more days until DH is back, right? Where did he go this time?

Katie, don't be nervous! If I can do half, anybody can. Okay, maybe not anybody, but I didn't even train, remember? You'll do great! Try to enjoy the moment, k?

Lisa, I read the weekend posts--it sounds like P party went well, that's so great. You must be relieved that it's over, though. I know I always am after a big event like that.

Hi to Wendy and there's someone else I missed.

So, this weekend went pretty well. The memorial for my FIL was very nice and it was good to see J's family. They're so sweet, too--they told him as long as we're not fighting I'm welcome at all future family gatherings. He thinks they like me better than him. I think he's right. :eek:

I was supposed to work out and clean up the plants on my deck yesterday, but I laid on the couch and read a book instead. I did make jambalaya for dinner last night and I have lots of leftovers to eat all week, so that will make eating better easier. I need to get on track with that. It's hard when it's just me, ya know?

This afternoon I have to go sign the divorce papers. As you can imagine, I'm not looking forward to it. But I had him schedule it for the end of the day because I may well be a red-faced, blotchy mess when it's done. I didn't want to have to come into work after that. So, I'll go home and do a Timesaver work out, then I have tap tonight. Hopefully that will be enough to distract me.

Becky good workout. I need to get back into CC. I have 4. This month I'm finishing up meso 2 and then take a week of recovery. Then alternate meso 3 with kettlebells. This should take me into the new years. OR maybe I'll buy Jari Love workouts and figure a rotation with that.:rolleyes:

My double-trouble workout done and I burned 712 cals. The good news is that I've improved pull up/chin ups. I went from doing
pull ups 7-10 reps to 12 reps. Some how I have to continue with this during meso 3.

i said basically that i had a fabulous FAST 16 miler today. not sure what had goten into me. also did gs chest and pubchest, going super heavy:eek: my tummy does not feel too hpot now, but that will help me not eat too much:cool: also had a nice conversation with dh. can't wait for him to come back this saturday. someone asked about his job - he is a pilot in the navy.

colleen, congrats on the job - that is fantastic!

anne, thinking of you today. do something kind for yourself.

happy monday ladies!! had a great 45min interval ride at gym this morning. ALSO had my first driving lesson earlier!!!!!! holy smokes, i was a bundle of nervesand that poor teacher... hes coming back for more punishment thurs am. question... do any of you take supplements? and do you give your kids vitamins or supplements of any kind?

b- yog, apple, tea (im out of coffee!!! do it the same with skim and 1/2t sug)

Nina, does finn still have a bump? JJ whacked his forehead in the windowsill at my aunts yesterday =( got my best results EVER with pub! and also love bm2 ub, really miss the step from that too…

Becky, get those veggies girl! the rotation ive been striving for is (plus short yoga practice most days):
mon – cardio intervals
tues – cardio intervals
wed – total body strength and long stretch
thurs – cardio intervals
fri – cardio intervals
sat – total body strength and long stretch
sun – long yoga session
I have a bit of WO ADD tho, I am not great at sticking to sched, get in the mood for something else and go with it. i need to be more structured expeciall since i know it has helped with my eating!

kate, hope you are coming out the other side of this halloween business!! hope today si getting bac kto norm!
 
Wendy first driving lesson. I wouldn't want to go through that again. I think the Jari Love dvds are coming tomorrow but I won't be able to do it until Sat.
