Half Marathon

Hi ladies,

I am considering starting training for a half marathon this fall. Can anybody recommend any good books or websites with training programs that involve cross-training? I will probably only run 2 times per week and still try to do an interval workout and a kickboxing workout, as well as continue endurance-type strength training.

I have been running for several years, but I feel like I need something to "train" for right now. I am not feeling challenged and I need a "project".

Hi Tina....I love half marathons myself and have run my share. I think one of the best sites is www.runnersworld.com for great advice. I also got this site from a member www.coolrunning.com they have some good tips also. I think the intrval workouts will help too. Good luck and let us know how you do...:)...Carole
