Morning haters~

How is everyone? Full of hate? Good good:p

My brain is too foggy to do personals right now, but I just wanted to say hello and get this party started.

I hate not having the time to post here, there and everywhere as throughly as I'd like.

Today will be an upper body day. I'm thinking GS C&T followed by a core max segment. We learned that we should be doing 3 back exercises for every one chest during the RT. Our small, upper back muscles are weaker than our pecs and as we age, our shoulders round, our internal organs sag and our intestines have no where to go but outward, causing a poochy belly. It's all about posture. I've been pulling my head back and my shoulders down all week.

So, what are the rest of you hating today?

Hi Robin. I'm hating what I saw in the new mirror in my workout room last night. And I know it's 100% due to my eating. So I really need to buckle down.

What is PYFGO? Or PYGFO? Or whatever it is?

Good morning!!

Oh wow, Shelley, thanks for starting us off this morning:) . Yes I'm full of hate this morning, hate for Wii boxing:p . The elbow is STILL HURTINGx( . Wii -- sounds like a sweet little game, doesn't it? I mean, you wouldn't expect anything called a "Wii" to leave one so impairedx(

I've decided that I need to back off from the computer again because there is no single other activity that bothers my elbow more than using the computer. I've been trying to use the mouse with my left hand -- ROTFLMAO is all I can say about THAT:p . I keep right clicking -- LMAO!

And I'm with you on the eating thing. I need to clean it up. I've done better since my DN went home, but his visit left me all sugared up and addicted again -- LMAO!

Robin - I would love to have sat in on that lecture! I'm a real stickler for good posture and I think about it constantly. I've developed the habit of the whole head back, shoulders down, abs in mechanic. Ever since I herniated the disc in my neck I've been aware of how beneficial it is to straighten up. I love the Classical Stretch DVD I bought a few weeks ago. I've never done another stretch program that I thought was more effective and I feel like I'm an inch taller every time I do it.

That's interesting about the ratio of upper back to chest exercises. I wonder if this information will have any bearing on how Cathe designs future workouts because I think she has a tendency to work the chest more than the back.

I ended up doing Classical stretch last night instead of PUMP. My BIL suggested that I use a wrist brace, and I also want to try an elbow strap. I've been doing a lot of reading and it's suggested that you use one of these braces while exercising. I was using a tennis ball to massage the area but I came across another, better way of doing it -- using a frozen water bottle. The ice really helps with the pain.

I need to look at yesterdays Hater thread -- I'll BBIAB

:*

I hate that I don't know what PFYGO is!!!!!!

I hate that Shelley didn't reply to my question yesterday in hatersville about the new HORRIBLE song by Will I Am.

I hate that I am work today and not at home napping.
I hate that I have all this work to do.

Last night my workout was supposed to be a 30-min interval on the elliptical but instead I hand push mowed the lawn and it took me 70 minutes!

Robin, that is interesting about the back workouts. I LOVE working my back and HATE working my chest that info suits me fine.

Oh yeah, I HATE that one of the teachers who's meeting is supposed to start in 10 minutes, just e-mailed me that he is running late and could I please print out his info.

So I better go do that . . .

Later haters!

Dana - LOL - sorry I forgot to answer your question. I haven't had the pleasure of hearing that particular piece of trash yet. I hope I never do. It's bad enough that I get to hear Nickelback 43 times a day.

Michele - damn that Wii! You poor thing. Yeah, my summer has been full of ice cream, chips, pop and general crap. Time to get my stuff together.

Dana - lol! You're really full of the ole hate this morning:p . Those pesky teachers! The lawn mower workout is a good sub for the elliptical -- not as much fun, maybe, but it gets the job done. I hope your day improves.

Shelley - Yes, we're pulling it together, right? For breakfast I had a hard boiled egg and 2 slices of WW raisin walnut bread. I'm having a sandwich for lunch; romaine lettuce, spinach, cucumber, tomato, and swiss cheese on whole grain bread. I have no clue what I'm doing for dinner. I want to see what appeals to DH. He'll be back tonight, hopefully in time for a nice dinner.

Jen - how did your meetings go? Did you have time to review your notes. I hope you don't have to go to Des Moines.

Jennifer - so I guess your dad's testing is today. I'm praying really hard about it. Please keep us informed. I'm glad your porch is done. How does it look? I'd love to see pictures as soon as you have time.

Augie - I have visions of you, standing in the hall, wearing a bra, trying to tap into the internet -- LMAO!

Arista - oh, I hope you haven't sneaked off again. I need you here to tell me if "sneaked off" is proper English -- LMAO!

Diane - how goes it for you? Is your DH adjusting to his new job?

PYGFO stands for Put Your Game Face On. Someone suggested we change the RT check in to thatinstead of calling it a post RT check in, since that was what was printed on our freebie tee shirts. It was so cool that everytime Cathe used one of her catch phrases during a workout, everyone would go wild.

Dana, I think you win the award for the most hating today. I told a co-worker about your girlfriend at Knoeble's. Her 15 year old brother was there that day and grossed out (so he said) by two girls he saw kissing. I'm not sure about the idea of a Gay Day at a family oriented park though....

Michele, I'm so sorry to hear your elbow is still bothering you. Especially since it means you are backing off from the computer. Something else we learned during the talk was that "balance training" is only called "balance training" if you are under 40. If you are over 40, it is called "fall prevention." HOGWASH! Oh, and one way of injuring your elbow (or was it shouler?) was by flailing your arms around wildly. Hhhhhmmmmm, like Wii?

Hiya, Haters!!!

ROTFLMAO!!! This is so fun!!

This is how I spent my day -- LMAO!!

Where is everybody?

Augie, are you in a cyber black hole?

Jen, were you able to get out of that meeting?

Well ♥ ♥ ♥ and :* to all:)
