Hello Haters.

Miss August and Squirrels are once again MIA on us.

So, Madrid, Seville, and I are filling in. Mooch, Cham, Lulu,and Yoyo are hopefully cool with it.

My weekend plans are parade, walking, working out on yard and not flying on planes. We're supposed to have severe weather here today and tonight, when I go grocery shopping, so I will be back way later.

Thank GOD it's Friday, Thank GOD, the weekend is almost here. One more week till my kayaking adventure on the infamous AuSable River. The AuSable 24 hour marathon is in 3 weeks and will be on ESPN2.

I could not keep my eyes open all darn day. I got back about an hour ago, it's not even 10pm and I'm off to sleep now.

Jennifer - how exciting that your kayaking adventure will be pretty soon. Sounds like you have a nice, relaxing weekend planned.

Aug - so how did your nails turn out? What color did you paint them? Did I tell you the other week I had my nails painted this really dark purple color - and this lady at work came up to me, now mind you I was the only one in the office, everyone else was at lunch, and said to me, "Oh, I don't like your nail polish". How rude!!!! I was shocked at first but then replied to her, "I didn't ask you if you liked it. And I don't comment on things that you wear that I don't like." She said, well then, I guess I shouldn't have said anything. And I just said, no, you probably shouldn't have. Why are people so mean????? Any how, what are your plans for the weekend?

Michele - are you still running around like a chicken with his head cut off? Pop in and say hello when you get a minute to yourself.

Hi Shannon, Diane & Jen.

Gabe and I had a wonderful day yesterday at Hershey Park. I am so sunburned though. I should've used my other sunblock. When we first got there it was around 9:00, and the park doesn't open til 10:00. They will not even open the gates to get in until exactly 10:00. So we went and did the chocolate world tour AGAIN - it isn't that great but you do get free chocolate at the end. So we get into the park at 10:00, we get a locker and then first ride he picks is the roller coaster, Wild Mouse. It is one of those where it looks like your car is going to go off of the track. It doesn't go very fast. Then we went to the water park. We were there for about 2.5 hours - it is a really nice water park. Then we went for lunch, went on more rides til about 4:00 and he wanted to go back to the water park. I didn't feel like getting dressed again so I just found a chair to lounge on and he did the water park til about 6:00. We broused the shops and left and got home about 9:00. Let me tell you, I am exhausted today. The water park gives you quite a workout. All those steps up to the slides carrying a huge tube. I'm sure that the sunburn also is adding to my tiredness. My only complaints about the park is that everything is so darn expensive. The food, the parking, etc. But we only go one time a year so that isn't so bad.

Today we're going swimming. I really hate putting on a bathing suit in public but I've finally decided that I"m not going to let my weight get in the way of taking my kids places. I know that I for one do not pay attention at all to what other women look like in their swim suits. I"m there to enjoy my children. Tomorrow we may go to a state park for a picnic. That is if my mom will go - I know DH won't go and I don't like taking both of my boys without another adult. They did away with life guards at all Pa State Parks this summer to save money.

I wish I was still in bed. I"m so sleepy!!!! Have a great weekend all of you!

OMG I'm so freaking busy right now! I feel exhausted and slightly overwhelmed, but you know what -- this is what my summers are always like. I can't wait for fall!!! ;-)

Did you guys see the thread on the OD forum about the STS-like program Vrinda made up!? OMG it's awesome!!! There's another thread in the STS forum that gives a list of current Cathe DVD's you can use to approximate STS. I'm going to do it! GOOD FOR YOU for putting on a swimsuit and taking your kids to the beach! I agree with you -- noboby is going to pay you any mind and I'm sure you don't look anywhere near as bad as you think you do ;-). You're a WONDERFUL caring and loving mother and that makes you BEAUTIFUL in my eyes, so there!

yes, I'm looking forward to my weekend and I got just the groceries in before the storm.

Seville is called the "prince" cause of his mannerisms. Madrid is my wild child.
