Oh boy, I really overslept this morning

Then as I was being chased down the steps by a starving and disgruntled kitty, my phone rang. It was my friend -- the one with breast cancer -- and we talked for over an hour -- before coffee

She wants me to do a little shopping for her for exercise DVD's. She's specifically interested in some walking DVD's.

I am off now to eat a little brekkie, then I need to choose a variety of workouts (I'm really nervous about doing this -- what if she hates everything I pick out?).

Sorry I have been MIA once again. I got a stomach virus on Wednesday of last week and was sick until Saturday. Then Saturday night both DH and Ella got the stomach virus and were so sick. On Sunday night Ella got a fever so doctor told us to take her to the hospital. We had a 2 day stay at the hospital and got home yesterday. Ella is back to normal but it was scary to see her so sick and feeling so aweful. I need to catch up on posts, it has been so long.

Diane!! OMG I'm so sorry. You must've been absolutely frazzled with Ella in the hospital. Oh how scary! I'm so glad she's home and everyone is okay. I hope you can get some good rest, too. Can your mom or sister come and stay with you for a few days?

You guys, I'm having a hard time choosing DVD's for my friend. It would be different if I wasn't spending HER money. I'm so worried she won't like what I pick out. I started a thread on VF to see if I could get some ideas. I know VF has a large contingency of walking DVD fans, as well as breast cancer survivors, so I'm hoping they will have lots of suggestions.

I need to skedaddle for now but I'll BBL :*

Afternoon ladies!

Diane - I'm so glad that little Ella is ok. It is so scary when your little ones are sick. Be careful with the flu season approaching.

Michele - that pasta dish looked really yummy!! Unfortunately, I'd be the only one that would eat it at my house.

August - boy, you didn't have too much to say today? Cats got your tongue??? HA!!!!!

Not sure if I'll have time to check in tomorrow. Itook the day off of work. Yeah!!!! To CLEAN!!! This is my weekend that I"m going away and I usually clean on Saturdays so I want to make sure I get my house cleaned and all the laundry done before I leave on Saturday morning. I'm sure my boys will have the house a mess by the time I get home.

Thanks for your comments about the DVD's. My post got a few responses at VF but not much. I ordered 5 DVD's from Amazon and I got them all for about $57. One of them was only .88 through one of the Marketplace sellers. . I figure she can send them back if she doesn't like them.

Okey dokey -- I'm about to do my workout. My Jari Love came today . I'll let you know what I think :7
