Hey hey Haters, hello!
My kitty is INSANE!! He's been bouncing off the walls ever since I brought him home from the vet yesterday http://bestsmileys.com/cats2/9.gif
I think his behavior is a side effect of the anesthesia. He's been knocking things off of the counter top and tables, walking across the STOVE TOP with a pot of water set to boil
, and just generally running around like a nut. He's a little better this morning but still not back to normal. Frankly I'm getting tired of having to watch him like a hawk, and I'm just about ready to isolate him in a room with the door closed for his protection and my sanity
I did Sculpt 1-2 last night and cardio is on the rotation for today. I'm going to team up with my old friend Eli for todays sweatfest. Is anybody working out besides me and the bunny (Jen)? LMAO!! Just for the record, yesterday marked the start of week 3 of my P90 rotation and I haven't missed a single workout http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/queen.gif
I got my shipping notice for Cathe's 4-Day Split last night and I should have it by tomorrow
. Dana, have you heard anything yet? Did anybody else order it?
Diane - Ohhhhhhh, Ella is so precious I just want to give her a big smooch! Congratulations on her first check up. I have no doubt that she is thriving. I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better, too. I'm sure the walks will be perfect for easing your way back into workouts. I hope your company doesn't overstay their welcome. I'm sure you're anxious to establish a routine which is hard to do when you're bombarded with company. That would drive me crazy. I hope people are chipping in to help you!
Jennifer - It sounds like you have a bona fide mouse infestation. When we had a problem we figured out that they were coming in from around the outdoor water faucet. We sealed up the exterior cracks when we had our house painted and we haven't seen another mouse since then. Maybe you need to have someone come out and seal up your house nice and tight.
So has Nick been posting on the forums? Have you had a date yet?
Dana, Jen, August, Robin, Terri, and all - What are you up to? Robin, you're at a meeting, I think. I'll BBL to see if anyone is around. It's a dark and dreary, rainy day -- a perfect day for watching a movie. I'm going to rent Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban (I just finished the book), and see if I can get Johnny boy to CALM DOWN ;(
See ya:*
ETA I forgot to tell you guys a funny story. Last Sunday DH and I cooked dinner for his parents. We had to do a little grocery shopping (always an adventure with DH
) and I found him in the bakery stuffing a huge blueberry muffin into a bag. I mean this muffin was as big as his head
. So I point out to him that the better choice would be the smaller, whole grain blueberry muffins on the shelf right below where the giant, fluffy muffins were. He immediately grabbed the healthier muffin and put it in the same bag with the moist, giant orb. When I suggested that he get the whole grain muffin INSTEAD of the white flour, white sugar artery clogging gooey one, he just stared at me with a look of complete and utter confusion -- like I had asked him to lay down in front of a train or something. Anyway, he bought BOTH muffins because he felt he couldn't put the one back after he "touched" it . What's a wife to do!? ;(
