Gym Styles vs. Pure Strength?

I have noticed that many of you use the Pure Strength series during your pregnancy. I don't have them, but I do have the Gym Styles from Hardcore.

Is there much of a difference in the workouts (besides Cathe's sweat band :D )?

My Cathe collection is pretty good -- I don't have PP/Supersets, Pure Strength, or the Cardio Kicks DVD.

I just receieved Imax 2 / C&W yesterday, so my Intensity Series is complete :)

I think that the gym styles are more intense and require a lot of modification for me pregnant. They, along with Slow and Heavy are my favorite workouts when I am not pregnant. I think the timesavers would have been doable, I just like the pace and number of repetitions with Pure Strength when I am pregnant--(most exercises have 2-3 sets of 10 reps.) I am not crazy about the music, however.

I think the gymstyles will be fine for you. Everyone's body responds to pregnancy differently anyway.

Maggie:)

I like the gym style workouts better. Of course, I am not pregnant, I had my baby this past summer! I wouldn't worry too much about not having them. (Honestly, for some reason, I never liked PS all that much anyway). I did also use Muscle Max, High Step Challenge, and Muscle Endurance a lot during my pregnancy.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I think I'll save my money for a different Cathe purchase...say Circuit Max / Cardio Kicks.
