The dyna bands are used for "finishing exercises" much of the time, so you could just omit those exercises. On other exercises (like the lying leg presses) you can substitute dumbbells--held on the hips for this example.
But dynabands, or some other resistance bands, really add to the workouts, and work in a way that dumbbells just don't. They are not very expensive, and they don't take up much space at all.
