Gym Style: Back, Shoulders and Biceps is approximately 62 minutes in length. You will work with a variety of rep patterns and always in a controlled manner. Most of the rep speeds are a 2/2 count or slower (and only faster when it suits the specific exercise). The rests between the exercises are moderate. You will love how the band exercises bring the muscle group to total exhaustion wherever included. Though viewing a list of exercises may appear standard, you will love the challenge this workout delivers.

Here is the breakdown.

Thank you Cathe for the update. I am getting so excited!! I am really looking forward to strengthening my back as my 10-month-old is getting bigger and bigger!

Since I spend most of my day typing, I like the look of the wrist curls. I have heard that they can help prevent carpal tunnel syndrome.

Thanks Cathe! Looks like another great work out!

Edited to say strengthening back and biceps!:p

Thanks for the update!! Looking forward to using the band!! I like the slower counts and moderate rest periods. Looking forward to this workout!!

Aila:)

edited for typos:) :) :)

Sounds GREAT!! This workout (like the whole series) looks mighty challenging to me. Thanks for the great workouts Cathe and Crew!!

Ruth!

I love that exercise too. It just might be MY fav too! You can feel so many muscles working when you do pull-overs. Thanks Cathe for always refreshing our workouts. They keep us so motivated.

RE: Ruth!

Hi Debbie! How's it going with the house? Hadn't seen you around here much for a few days & assumed you were busy, busy, busy!
I absolutely love pull-overs...they just make me feel so powerful, and they have zero dread factor for me. Also I get to lie down.:p

Ruth:)

Ruth!

Thank you~The house is coming along great. The basement is done! :p Funny, I never have a dread factor when pull-overs come along. Hubby used to workout with me before his work schedule changed and EVERY time we did S&H pull-overs I would say, "I LOVE this part!" I think he heard me say it about a zillion times! I also love the music Cathe used for that segment. It fits so well. Like you, I enjoy the lying-down part too. ;-) Can't wait to try them with a barbell.

This looks GREAT, Cathe! I love the idea of putting these three areas together in one workout!!

Oh no!!! More rows. Let's see if the presentation pulls it off so it gets interesting. I hate rows, sorry. Love Cathe and hope she manages to make me do these.

I tried to edit the above post but it didn't work...it didn't sound right and I apologise!!! I only meant that personally, I am not quite as fond of rows ( realizing there's not a lot you can do with a back routine for home exercisers if you excluded them )and now I must shut up before it gets worse.
