Gym pants for dimply backsides

Does anyone have suggestions for a brand or style of gym pants that aren't shiny polyester and show every ripple in my less than perfect behind?

I wear gym shorts at home, but just joined a gym and everyone wears polyester looking capris and pants. I'd like some that are less shiny and tight. Even the nike ones are not my friend.

Any ideas?

I really like the ones that Cathe wears from Oh My Bod...Now, they ARE tight...but not shiny..and they kind of feel like thick support hose...I feel like the pull me in and hold me still...if that makes sense!!

Good luck!

You've probably already figured this out . . . but get BLACK, definately BLACK. I am able to use Nike but not all of them. I just have to try each style and see which ones work. Probably the more expensive the brand, the thicker the material (not always, but I tend to find pants that hold me in better in the more expensive brands).

Best wishes!

I have to second the Oh My Bod line. It's worth every penny. Very supportive.
Another idea that I got from a bodybuilding site is to wear girdle panties. They come in many styles. They help you sweat more off your bottom and hold you in at the same time. They say it helps tighten the skin back too.

I like Victoria's Secret yoga pants. They are not shiny and fit really well. They do however show panty lines.

Dick's Sporting Goods carries a line of Ativa clothing. I got a pair of their capri sweats for about $25. They're flattering and comfortable. I don't see them listed in the online store, but I always find them in the regular retail locations.

Try lulelemon ...they have super comfy workouts pants in tons of different styles and lengths. I'm long legged, short waisted and long in the riser so I have a hard time finding a style to fit me. I found a pair (black, not shiny, and loose in a good way) there that not only are super comfy but look great on me. They also wick the sweat away from your skin, which as Martha Stewart would say "and that's a good thing". In fact I'm so addicted to them that I don't wear my old workout shorts.

I second the girdle, bike shorts suggestion. I wear them when jogging or doing high impact. I've got a lot of jiggles that I don't want to share with the world.
