I just purchased the new Asics gel GT 2000 from onlineshoes.com using their promo code 2wishlist and saved 25%. I paid $89 for this brand new, just released update on my fave running shoe and everywhere else on the internet it is priced between $115 and $130.

So, my old Asics GTs will be my gym shoes and Cathe shoes and these new purple babies are just for running. Go me! I'm so excited!!!!!

Aren't they fab? See below:

Asics GT-2000

Happy Christmas to me.... What did everyone else get for Xmas?

Thanks for the heads up, but just a caution.... the discount doesn't apply to all brands.

I replace my Mizuno wave rider running shoes about every 6 to 8 months, so thought I'd take advantage of this discount. It doesn't work on Mizuno. :(

(Also, the code won't work unless you spend $100!)

Enjoy your new Asics!!

I used to order most of my shoes from Zappos, but Onlineshoes is quickly taking their place due to the special promotions they offer.

Am I missing something from Zappos?

Congrats on the new shoes Clare .

I purchased a High Step for myself for Christmas...I mean Santa got one for me ;).

Oh and of course Xtrain :D.

I love all my fitness goodies :p. I feel like a little kid when I get new equipment  :D.

Lisa:

I never get any email offers from zappos. Do they even do them? They email me regularly to tell me what's new with Frye Boots, my favourite brand, but never with discounts.

So, I think the answer is no, you are missing nothing! And if I can save $30 on brand new athletic shoes, I'm going to go wherever is cheapest and offers free s/h.

Sorry Mizuno's weren't included JM. Bummer. I have to say I was shocked that Asics were included, they usually exempt themselves from all discount thingies.

Hey Natasha:

enjoy your new fitness toys. Gotta love that! I don't really count XTrain as an Xmas pressie, I ordered it sooooo long ago!

Actually I can't wait for Xtrain to arrive, i think I am more excited for this one that for Low Impact series, which, I confess, I have yet to do.......

Spoiled for choice in the new year......

the 25% discount is now working on selected Mizuno shoes: maybe give it a whirl?

Clare, thanks so much for letting me know. I still can't get it to work for the Mizuno Wave Rider, which is what I wear. It tells me "this brand does not allow advertised discounts".

There *are* some Mizunos on sale for a pretty good price. I am wearing the WR 15 now and really want the WR 16. They've made a few changes in this year's design, mainly it's lighter, so I want my next pair to be the 16's. Otherwise, I'd totally go for the 15's again and get that sale price.

Thanks again!

Sure, no worries. I know what it's like: once you find that running shoe, you stick with it and get each year's update. Why switch unless you have to? A great running shoe builds its own loyalty. Nobody is more loyal to their athletic gear than runners!
