Granola Question

Cathlete
I go some granola to try, fat content is 6 grams for half cup. What protein can I have with it besides cottage cheese or milk that will not increase the fat content much more? Thanks, Melissa

I agree with Shelley. Granola mixed in with FF yogurt is a tasty snack. I used to eat this combo (with plain yogurt) and it was a good snack.

Here's what I found about yogurt's protein content:

"Like most dairy products, yogurt is a good source of protein - an average 8-ounce serving contains between 8 and 10 grams of protein, or 16 to 20 percent of the Daily Recommended Value (DRV)"

I try to have 25 grams protein per meal, which gets to be tedious in balancing fats. Also, I am stuck in the body for life mode which counts yogurt as a carb. I am being ridiculous. Sorry. My granola has 10 grams of protein, so I am up to about 20%. Thank you for your quick replies. I hate the days when all I think of is food. Melissa
