GoWear fit display question

I don't think this has been asked before (I did a search and didn't see anything) I apologize if I missed it....

For those of you that have one: Does the display have to be near the unit all the time to keep info, or will it update once it is close to the unit?
It might be nice to have when we go camping and I don't have internet access, but I don't like to wear a watch and I don't see myself wanting to wear this or have it in a pocket or whatever all the time. Also is it possible to look at daily totals from the day before etc (assuming you haven't uploaded the info).

Too bad the unit is not waterproof (to count swimming). I guess you can add it to off body time....

I'll try to answer some of your questions.

The display doesn't need to be near you all the time. If you have it in a place away from you and want to check your progress during the day all you have to do is press the button on the armband and it will sync with the display.

You can check the previous days totals on the display also.

I find it is most comfortable when clipped to my pants or even the strap of my sports bra, when I wear it, I don't wear it as a watch.
