It's been 4 years since I've had a new car, I'm SO excited!!! Last week, DH had to come and pick me up, with his truck and trailer, while I was showing houses...How embarrassing!!! Well, he fixed it this past weekend (only $150), then Monday the transmission went out...Well, we bought the car for $500 a year ago, so we didn't feel too bad about it...
Both of DH's brothers work at a Dodge dealer about a 1/2 hour from our house, so we get their discount, along with any other rebates that are out for new vehicles...Decided to pop in yesterday to see what we could find on any remaining 05's...Wouldn't you know, we walked out an hour later with an '05 Stratus sedan for UNDER $14,000!!! We were SHOCKED! My last new car was an '01 Stratus, and cost us over $18,000!!! It's RED pearl, with a spoiler...She's CUTE!!! It's only a 4 banger, but I put on almost 30,000 miles a year, so no big deal...The milage is more important than the "umph"...What a great write off for the end of the year!!! And the best part is, DH doesn't consider this a Christmas gift!!! YIPPEEEEEE!!!
