Goofy dog story

True story here!

So clearly my Bichon, Wolfy is actually capable of learning some things! For the past two years he has gotten onto my son's school bus-schedule. I don't know how, but somewhere in his furry little head, he knows it's time for us to walk to the bus-stop to go get Randy.

Well, sure enough, at about 4pm today he starts whining and staring at his leash. Then realizing I wasn't paying attention to him, I swear to you, he came into my office and started whining at the clock and jumping on me!!! "come on, Mom, it's time to go get Randy from the bus-stop!!"... not registering that we haven't left home because of a snow-day. It also didn't sink in that my son is in the livingroom playing his Wii. The dog can tell time- sort of!!!!

Okay- ya gotta give him this one!! It's all worth it when that furry fluffy ball of love stares at you with those hopelessly cute big brown eyes!! Randy and I gave him a great big snuggle fest and giggled til we had tears in our eyes!

Dogs are such great therapy!! Hope this story brought a smile to your faces!!

I love it! My dogs are in tune with my schedule. I'm the only one with a regular work schedule. DH's school schedule is all over the place. They are waiting at the window when it's time for me to come home for lunch and after work! Some days, I run a little late and, according to my DH, they just whine and pace impatiently for me to get there!

Dogs are wonderful! They really do make you feel loved and important!

That's a good question. The weekends don't seem to phase him! I'm sure gonna miss him when we got to SD for the road trip. He's going to be at Camp Bow Wow so he'll be playing and sniffing butts all day so he should be pretty wiped out at the end of the day. Also, they have the doggie-cam so we can see what he's up to during the day!
