good moisturizing body lotion or cream

Bath & Body's Cashmere Shea body lotion, it remains on the body even after a shower. I love it. Hope this helps.
 
The new Aloe one at Body Shop is just great, very thick though, so I combine it with Oil of Olay Firming lotion, which I've used for years and really like too.

I second Nivea Smooth Sensation lotion, that IS a good one. The other one that is good is Quench ( Olay Brand) Get the extra moisturizing one, its great.

Both of these also leave a nice "sheen" on your skin, esp the Quench one... its definitely not a bronzer by any means, but its slightly iridescent, so your skin looks kinda glowy.

Smells are both pretty neutrally clean... ( The whiff factor is pretty big and I like both)

I like St. Ives lotions, too, as well as the c. Booth stuff. Their Lemon Sugar 4-in-1 smells like candy. :)
 
My new absolute favorite is Gold Bond Ultimate healing. They were doing a test at Sam's Club, and I immediately got some. I used to use Cetaphil dry skin, but this Gold Bond takes the cake. It soaks in well--not greasy at all, but leaves kind of a protective feel (but not like Avon's Silicone Glove, which I didn't like). My kids have the worst cracked skin on their hands (especially knuckles), and this did wonders. I couldn't get them to use any other lotion, because they hated the feel. I've tried a LOT of lotions, and this works like no other!

Coconut oil (unrefined). It smells wonderful, absorbs nicely, has antibacterial properties and has a fatty acid makeup similar to that of our own sebum and body oils.

I use this also - just make sure you use it sparingly so you aren't too greasy. It is relatively inexpensive, not tested on animals and doesn't contain animal fats!

I use coconut oil too, love it! Also, love pure grapeseed oil. You can use it as a body moisturizer and as an overnight oil treatment for your hair.
 
Body Shop Body Butters are a sure thing for me. Also, recently received as a birthday gift from my sister: NevO Dead Sea Spa Hand & Body Lotion (Ocean Scent). It smells heavenly and does a fine job...
