Good Eating June 6

Didn't get a chance to post here yesterday, but I did good! I am down a pound! I switched to plain oatmeal from the flavored instant stuff. I am getting used to it, playing around with the flavoring.
I am switching what I can to whole wheat, and keeping the sweets and sugar to a minimum when I can.
I really want to lean out because I know I have some nice muscle defintion, you just can't see it !!!!!

Thanks August! I am the fittest I have ever been in my life, and I really know I have made that "lifestyle change" that I needed. Seeing results is the best motivator!
Now if I could just get my husband to follow suit!!!LOL!!!!!

I have lost 2 pounds yeah. I think it was the fever though. But I am beginning to think that eating apples is better than chocolate chips. Well, maybe not. But maybe. I prefer maybe not.
I did have three peanut butter granola bars but that was all so I am doing better. I am making enchiladas later so wish me luck!

Glad to hear you're doing better...your fever melted off 2 pounds? That evil virus!

Megadoo - Funny about your husband! Haha! He'll probably be influenced watching you, though!
 
I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who didn't get a chance to check in yesterday. Overall, I'm doing well. Egg white omelettes w/veggies for breakfast, huge salads with lean protein for lunch, veggies/yogurt/fruit for snacks. Dinners have generally been lean protein with lots of veggies. Although I still crave those chocolate cookies, pudding and that darn peanut butter. I'm trying to substitute fruit whenever those cravings hit (except for the PB, that I just give in - I've been able to limit myself to two spoonfuls yesterday and today, though.)

Megadoo - Congratulations on making those lifestyle changes. It feels great knowing that you have the ability not only to make the changes but stick with them.

I know what you mean about DH - mine talks a good talk, but hasn't quite gotten the walk down.

Kate - I'm so glad you're feeling better. Enchiladas? Good luck!
