Good-bye floor, hello ceiling fan

Anyone had this experience? And my ceiling fan is pretty high up off the floor, as we have a vaulted ceiling. I decided to really give those plyo-jumps the old college try, at least as high as Cathe is doing. Whoops! Cathe doesn't have a ceiling fan above her! I got that fan rocking even more than it already was! Good feeling jumping that high...but my endorphin high was slightly interrupted. Anyone have any "startling" moments while working out?

TOTALLY. I have a beam in my ceiling that I've totally rammed my fingers into a few times during those plyo-jumps. It's the same beam I forget about when I'm doing moves like raising up my stability ball above my head! BOING!

I have had assorted things "vibrate" off the desk or tv and right on to the floor while doing hi impact work outs or using the rebounder. One time a candle holder fell and broke all over the floor. :-(

I won't do leg presses on the high step w/my ceiling fan going for fear of getting my head chopped off! :p

I don't stretch my arms out fully during high impact if the fan is on for fear of losing fingers! :p

Been there too:) Doing power 15's and got my fingers whacked by the fan, had 2 blue nails to prove it. Once I neglected to heed Cathe's bid of 'safely put down your weights' during PUB, I ended up getting my fingers pinched between a 12# and 15# dumbell, yet another blue nail. I've also pinched my fingers between plates changing my barbells, feels so good when the pain stops:+

Take Care
Laurie:)
