Yeah the Eagles almost did it....I told everyone at work that they would cover the spread and maybe win. Most people laughed.
I don't like either team in the Bowl this year so I will not watch it. I think the Pats may surprise some people though.

Sigh. Dang it!!! I got so excited in the 2nd half, flinging my terrible towel all over the house...and then those #*@!*# interceptions...oh well. My husband, who is a Cowboys fan (how stinky were they this year!??!) had the nerve to snicker at me all night - grrrr!!! I used to watch KDKA news all the time when I lived there. I hope the powers that be aren't going to do anything to Bill, I really like him. IMO, the Bills are still the symbol for choking in the big game! I still feel bad for Jim Kelly.
I, too could care less about the Superbowl now. Except that I think U2 and Paul McCartney are going to be in the halftime show. And then there's always the commercials. So it might be worth watching for those reasons.
I still enjoy waching footage of the Steel Curtain days. I loved Jack Lambert and Franco. And Swann and Stalworth and Rocky and Mean Joe and Terry and Jack Ham.....It's like that Bruce song "Glory Days"
BTW, have you ever had any Iron City Beer?
