Give up after 20 min

I can't seem to break the 20 min. After 20 min I get so tired that I just give up. I start messing up on coreagraphy and slack on jumps. The thing is, it's not that I'm out of breath or anything, I'm just tired. I do workout 1st thing after work, but if I sit down or have dinner before I workout it just won't get done at all.
Has anyone delt with this?
 
I get that way too right after work. I find that I need to eat some carbs about an hour or 30 minutes before I work out helps lots.
 
OMG me too--I cannot do cardio after work! I'm just too tired.......I love lifting & I actually look forward to going to the gym after work (well, except in winter when it's dark out, but we'll discuss that in October ;)).

I always do cardio in the a.m., & there are other benefits--it's a more effective fat burner when you do it first thing.

Another option is to maybe try some of the less intense cardio workouts until you work your way up to doing the full 40 or 50 minutes or whatever.
 
Cardio in the morning is not an option, because I have to leave the house at 6:45 at the latest to be at work; and I stay up until 12AM doing homework ('m in school too). 3 more weeks and I'm done though!!! :D
 
I noticed that the 20-30 minute area is a slump for me in working out that I push myself through. Once I get passed it though I realize I'm over the hump and am good to go. Sometimes its just cause I'm thinking about how far to go yet.. and once I pass the half mark I'm on my way down again (towards the end).
Also on some workouts I still need to get down the choreo I get done less due to frustration and don't feel like messing with it.
Therefore workouts I have it 'down pat' I do more often. Like I LOVE KPC due to that. Very straight forward. But I do have some with some steps you have to learn like Amy's but I find hers fun to learn. I still have a small few that I've yet to get thru and keep putting off but I know I'll love them once I get it down. I probably just need to take a few days and not expect a reallly tuff workout cause I'll be stopping/starting learning the steps and then I'll love it and get a good workout later on with it.

I dunno about the energy thing. Sometimes I just don't feel like working out cause I'd rather be doing something else but I push thru then I feel great when I finish. That inspires me for the next time cause I know I can do it!
 
sounds like your not getting alot of sleep either with your schedule.. maybe a small after work rest would help recharge you some? or maybe take it half time till your three weeks is up?
