Does anyone have any of his new workouts? What do you think? I liked him just before I started Cathe but I don't think we would be challenged enough huh?

I find him to be super easy. The exercises appear to be geared toward the beginner. He may be a good choice for a really light day though.

His work outs may be easy, but HE is certainly easy on the eyes! OMG he's cute!:p

ETA I think you should get his DVD just so you can look at him. Heck, I may just do that.

Seriously, Michele. I haven't seen his w/o's lately, but some might be a good starting point for those light weights you want to work back into your routine.

You know, I'm always trying to push...uh...help you.;-)

Melody, I used to do his work outs years ago when he had a show on ESPN. That's when I got my first set of dumbells. I always loved him. And his sister was gorgeous. She had her own show for awhile and I used to work out along with her as well. I wonder what ever happened to her. Heck, at the time they were the toughest w/o's offered on TV.

ETA I'm pretty strong. I think his work outs would be too easy for me now. It's really the cardio portion that I suck at:eek: ;(

You can always check out his workouts on Fittv. I have tivoed some of them and did his workouts for a couple of weeks to get started again after 2 months of not working out. They are not hard, but good if you only have 20 minutes to workout. Also, if you have Netflix, they have most of his dvds so you can try him out before you buy.

I 2nd what Diane said. If you get FITtv you can do his workouts from that. Some of them are definitely more challenging than others. There are a few where he does quite a bit of plank work and it really works your core. I've always liked him. I've still got his workouts and his sister's that I taped from ESPN eons ago but I decided it's ok to start taping over them. :) I also just pulled out his Fat Burning Workout that I have on VHS. I'll be doing that one soon. I always loved his accent, especially when he'd say "pwess" for press. He's just so cute and very motivating! :7

I USE to like him until he made a remark on one of his shows last year. They were doing some kind of floor exercise and he looks over to one of his fitness models and says, "Hey _____, is that your stomach or are your pregnant". Soon, after that remark, I never saw his show on again. Wouldn't watch it either if it came back on.

I never noticed that, but he does pronounce "hind" (as in "hind leg" ) to rime with "wind"(as in "blowing in the") rather than with "mind."

I haven't done his FitTV workouts, but I've seen them, and I like what he does: combining cardio and weights, and adding in some core and functional fitness moves.

He's supposed to be coming out with some new workouts, similar to these, but NOT just these same workouts on DVD. I'm not sure when, though, sometime this year.
