Getting Out of the Rut - Monday

Good Monday morning ladies!

Let's have a great week! I'm excited because in exactly one week I will be starting my vacation and so I want to give it my all before I take 2 weeks off.

What does everybody have planned for today?

I'm sticking with Jari this week as it seems to be working for me. Then the Ab portion of MM and this afternoon an hour walk.

Good Morning!

I started my morning off with a quick 30 minute walk with a friend. Later I plan to do Disc 13 & day 1 of the hundred push ups program. I am super psyched to be trying this program. I *hated* the pushups from Meso 1 so I am hoping to build myself up so when I tackly Meso 1 again I can annihilate those darn push ups! I will have to try the ab portion of MM, I have definitely not been getting in my abs like I should. Still no weight loss today, *big sigh*, but I know I am doing all the right things so I will wait it out. My knee is better today though. I braced it yesterday and ran through Step Blast except the high impact blast challenge portion and the step only from SJP. I did fine except for when I tried to do the fast foot repeater. That hurt my knee so I stopped doing it! The rest of the workout was great.

Sammy - Where are you going on vacation? I am so envious of all the vacations! We are going to skip vacations this year because my son just got braces and I am having eye surgery in May. That takes care of all our discretionary income for awhile. Lol! Work hard now so you can rest up on your vacation. Fun!

Good morning!

Sorry I missed you all yesterday. I was busy digging my rut hole!:mad: I "lost" track of my calorie counting and let it slip...Not as bad as I could have. Just lots of extra snacks and desserts. I feel totally out of the rut with exercise and am soooo grateful for that. But, come on, with the eating! I think it might be pms cause I've been a lil' snippety.:eek:

I did STS Meso1 W3 Ch,Sh,Bis. So.many.push ups! :p Plan to get some cardio in after I drop off the kids. Lots of chores to do today. Going out to dinner with friends from out of town. Hope to choose wisely. Wishing I were Robin today!

Sammy- One more week...Yay! Where to? 18 days for me until the RT. I am spending Sun afternoon/night all to myself in the hotel. This makes me giddy.

Lisa- Hope you have good results w the pu challenge. I really wanted to do it but couldn't figure out how to fit it in w/STS. I was way to sore. That is so strange with the defict and no wt loss?!? Hopefully you will have a drop-off this week!

After being married for over 30 years and never going on a vacation together, my husband and I have decided to go to Paris. I'm so excited!
I have been trying so hard to not be the chubby American tourist in Europe... at least I will be less chubby! I have (as of today) officially lost 10 pounds since September 5th. Yes, we are talking a 0.38 lb. loss per week. 168 workouts later. And you know what? I'll take it and be happy. Better than NOT losing 10 pounds, isn't it?

Lisa7691- I did the 100 Push-ups program. My upper body was so weak at the time (shoulder injury + recovery time) that I did it to build up to 100 push-ups off my kitchen countertop. At the time it was soooo hard but the program helped a lot. I have been thinking about doing it again now that I have more strength in my arms and might do an actual push-up.
I remember the braces years! We're lucky to be going on vacation now after paying for all that metal!

Wendy- Yep, I still say that the diet is the hardest part. Take it day by day.
Being all alone in a hotel is a dream of mine. I would feel like you but I think I would need 2 nights... one to be giddy... and one to settle down and enjoy the quiet.

P.S- By the way, it's getting a little rough out there on the forum, isn't it? I think I'll just hide in here for a few days!
