getting more definition?

I really want to get more lean and defined arms. I dont want to increase the size of my arms, just make them more cut . I want nice sexy muscular arms but not he-man arms. I like the size they are now but I need to be more cut. Its coming slowly, by bi's and tri's look nice but my delts are being stubborn. If I flex my arm to 90 degrees like holding a hammer then you can see that nice v shape on my arms but when I just let my arm hand straight down, you dont see anything from the shldrs. I have slow and heavy and pyramid upper body. If I recall when I did PUB I got good results but I havent done either of these two workouts in a long time because of time. I have been doing P90x shldrs and arms workout the past two weeks and feel it is a good workout, I lift as heavy as I can and am usually fatigued by the end of the workout. questions is will this workout give me the lean and cut look I am looking for or should I go back to PUB or SH? has anyone experimented with these?

Laura.... Personally "cut" for me is BF% + lifting heavy....
IF you got the results you like w/ PUB but time is factor could you not use PUB but as splits or even 1 part per day??? I do that with all full body & All Upper workouts.... HTH some. Same w/ SH- I cant keep my mind focused for more than 1-part per day with that one...

Hi Laura, I am so looking for the same thing. Click on FAQ on STS. Cathe addresses this question . . . it's one of the last questions on that forum. Sounds like STS will be our answer. Check it out and good luck.

A good weight lifting program will create great muscles but you need to have a great diet along with that weight lifting program in order to lose the fat that's over those muscles.

Fat loss is key to getting the defined look you want.

P90X, PUB and the GS series are all great ways to develop the muscle (and STS will be too ofcourse) but if you are eating like crap you won't get the results you are after.

Diet is the hardest part...I know it but I also know that if you can push through and keep your diet as clean and healthy as possible for even just a month (keep a food log and take pictures! That helps me!) you will likely see definition developing that you didn't have before and THAT will spur you on to continue.... :)

Pushups - simple as that. IN MY CASE, anyway, lifting (heavy, light, high reps, low reps, you name it) never did for me what pushups have, definition-wise
