Getting It Done - Week of July 11 - 17

D2 is done. Used the same weight as last time.

Hi all!

Finally a chance to log on. And I have some serious DOMS! First off, the pecs are killing me thanks to all those push-ups. And the lower abs are telling me about it with every slight move. The glutes are still talking to me, but the legs were really stiff this morning, and I had enough time to get them loosened up with a 3 mile walk on the treadmill (iTread 1 - 40 min).

I'm trying to talk myself into an arm wo tonight - this hotel does have free weights.


Belinda - Great job on D2! Did you bring along heavy enough weights to take you all the way through? Hope your headache goes away.

Allee - Glad your headache is gone. Great job on TurboJam!

Heidi - Awesome calorie burn! Hope the knee is ok. As for the DOMS, feeling them right along with you.


Gonna veg in front of a replay of today's big soccer game while I contemplate the arm wo. I'm kind of tired. Between the heat and intense wo's, it's no wonder.

I have heavy enough weights for M1/M2, for M3 I need to get more weights.

Good morning!

Last night I did get in an arm workout, and even abs. Arms were dead tired this a.m. I need to remember to do a leg workout here, not arms, because the weights are only in 5# increments. I only could use 5's, 10's and 15's, but could have really benefitted from 8's and 12's.

And this morning, I did a 1 mile run, followed by a 1 mile very quick walk. All the DOMS seem to have worked themselves out, just in time for me to go sit on a plane (and get stiff again!).

Been keeping my eating under control this trip - no small feat! But that's the key, right?

Sherry and Belinda: Way to go on the workouts and DOMS! My upper is fried from GS C&Tri! That ab ripper is really kicking my hip flexors! Went for a quick sprint run yesterday and I can't say it was pretty. HAHA! iTread #13 30min sprint...was more of a walking/jogging sprint.
Abs from STS Yoga based felt good as a stretch out.

Belinda: Have a great workout!

Sherry: Who one? ;) So did you do that upper workout or waited? ;)

Allee: How are you doing today? :)

I was planning on Lower Body Blast but I will do it tomorrow instead. ;) I should be good and ready for it by then.

Good morning ladies!

Yesterday was a rest day. got home from the Harry Potter viewing late Thursday night and just couldn't get moving in the morning. Then, last night was getting all those last minute things together for the guys, as DH and DS left fora 2 week hiking and kayaking adventure up along Lake Superior.

Plans for the day - and lower body workout and abs, which have finally recovered from ARX on Monday.

Heidi - Glad I'm not the only one who has trouble keeping up with iTread's definitions of walking/jogging/running!

Belinda - You'll be very busy just previewing all of those workouts!

Allee - What are your plans for the day?

Lower body sculpt and stability ball abs done! Didn't want to fry the legs before the long run tomorrow. Now off to shower and, according to DD, shop.

I am not happy with myself. I gained AGAIN!!! I have no one to blame but me. All those holidays cookouts. :(

Good morning!

WO done - although not the long run I had planned. Heat already at 85* at 10 am, so run was only 1 mile out and a walk back. Better to cut it short that push it too much today.

Now, heading to get groceries before watching the US Soccer game.


Allee - It's not all about weight, but inches,which matter more. You'll get back into it. I need to plan my workouts for the week, too.

Oh I hear ya Sherry on the heat sapping your energy!!! I haven't done a run outside since 2 weeks ago! I am so lookng forward to the temps going back to the 70's!

I have been alternating between cycle and TM workouts. Also adding in some killer w/o's from Bodyrockers/TV which is online and FREE!!! Love free stuff!!! :) They are TOUGH!

GREAT workouts ladies! :) Keep up the good work!
