Hi and good morning,

Sorry I haven't checked in since Friday, Aleisa came to visit us. Had an awesome weekend.

I been doing JM30DS, except Friday. Just never happend:confused: My plan for today is JM30DS L2 and abs. BTW, this week is my recovery week.

I will be back this afternoon to catch up on personals.

Hey Belinda! No worries I have been busy this weekend as well. ;) Today I did GS C&Tri
abs from B&G's with ankle weights. I forgot what a great ab workout this is!!!
How are you liking the JM workouts? :) How are you using these as a rotation?
Have a great workout! I suggest giving those abs a workout with what I did today. ;) HEHE! It's a goodie!

Hello to Sherry! How are you? Have the kids started back at school? How goes the workouts and running? Argh! My treadmill is on the frits!!! The console isn't working now!
I hope that my DH can take a look at today to see what the problem is. I HOPE THAT IT IS A SIMPLE FIX!

Hehe..another busy body here.

Sorry, I haven't been around either.

My niece is here for a visit. Now, she isn't feeling that great. So, our plan is ruined. It's all good tho.

My workout so far is STS disc one, 3 mile walk with Leslie Sansone and The Biggest Loser Workout.

Hi all!

Looks like a busy day for everyone. Labor Day has not been relaxing, but rather doing housework and errands, including school supply shopping. The kids go back Wednesday.

WO for today was The Firm BSS1 Cardio Sculpt. I was wanting a total body workout that wasn't too intense. Today was supposed to be my off day.

Plan for the week - cardio every a.m., with running or weights (including abs) in the evenings. Actually looking forward to getting this 1/2 marathon done, because I really want to be doing heavier weights. Feel like all the work I did early in the year with STS is just gone.


Belinda - I'm sure you had a wonderful weekend with your daughter!

Heidi - Oh no! Hope your treadmill gets fixed soon! We still don't have one, but can't complain in the warm months because I so prefer running outside, and so does the rest of the family.

Hannah - That's alot of exercise in one day! I'm sure you'll be feeling it later!

Sherry: I hear ya on the no rest day for Labor day! My son had supplies to get as well. This will be his first 4 day/full day week. Good luck to your kids today!

So the TM is a gonner...it is too expensive to buy a new control panel so that is that.
The deal is if I sell my iphone my DH will discuss getting another treadmill. ANYONE KNOW OF A PERSON WANTING AN IPHONE? HEHE!

Sherry: so what are your runs like in the morning? Trails or road? How many miles per day are you planning? Are you doing abs every day too? ;)

After everyone was out yesterday I went for a walk up the road. 2miles. HAHA! Boy did I feel it later! It is a very hilly road! My front shins are a little tender today too.

OI! my upper is feeling yesterdays chest and tri workout from GS! I again went heavy and I was shaking towards the end of the rounds on each exercise!

Today I did the Cardio 3 combos from BM2. Great workout and burned 487 cals. WOW! I only used a 4" step too! HR was 147-170.

Belinda: How are you doing today? Did you get those abs done yet? HEHE! What are your plans for today?
So glad that you were able to have your DD up for a visit. :)

Hello all!

Well, the goal of doing cardio first thing in the a.m. didn't happen today. The weight work from yesterday caused lots of stiffness and soreness when I woke up. The glutes are still talking to me every time I get up to move about. I haven't been doing too much leg work lately because I didn't want to add that stress to my joints right now. 6 more weeks, and then I can change that.

Tonight's plan is an easy 3 mile run on the road. Very cool here today, so that should be easy to get done.


Heidi - Too bad about the treadmill. And to get a new one, you need to give up the phone? Bummer. Most of my runs are road runs in the evening, because 1) my runs are always better in the evening than the morning and 2) on the road because it's easier to just walk out of the house than drive somewhere. On long run days, I can incorporate some trails into the route. But about those abs . . . still not my favorite.

Hi all!

I did get my run in last night, screaming glutes and all! 4 miles including warm up and cool down laps with dog. Just didn't get to the computer because DS was monopolizing it for homework. Can't beleive how stiff and sore the glutes are still from legs presses (more stiff than sore now).

Plan for today is UB and abs. Thinking I might just stick with the "wimpy" (as DD calls them) Firm wo's for tonight as well.

What are everyone else's plans for the day?

Sorry, I for not checking in, my internet was down:eek: hate when that happends! Still keeping up with my workouts. Today I did JM30DS L2 Day 5 and walked for 45 min.

Looks like you got some nice workouts in, wtg! BBL!
 
Checking in to report wo done! 2 mile brisk dogwalk, Firm Body Sculpt upper only (babying a sore shoulder - not sure what I did - still denying that I'm getting old) and Firm Ab Sculpt. Plus I signed all those dang forms the schools send home on the first day. My homework is done, too!

Belinda - Great job keeping up with your workouts. Bummer about the internet.

Tomorrow is a one day trip out of town so not sure how I'll get a wo in - flying out early and back late. But it's only one day, which may mean a rest day.

Belinda: Glad your ok and got your internet back. Nice workouts too! :)

My shins are still sore from that walk on the road the other day!!! Oh and I returned my phone for a full refund after the apple store just gave me a new one for my broken phone. It worked when people called and I could hear them but they couldn't hear me... weird because the voice recorder worked.. don't get it.
So that worked out great!

The same day I called the TM repair company and we worked on trying to reset the console...no luck. However I did find one on Ebay!!! A heck of alot cheaper than buying from Sears or the original maker of the TM!!!! So I am waiting for it to arrive to test it out. In some ways I hope it works but in others I don't want it to because this TM is really old and I am sure the walking belt is about to go next.

Today was LIC Cardio Blast Timesaver premix. 48min of a great cardio workout! :) Loved it!

Hi girls,

Sorry, for not checking in this morning. My workouts: walk for 45 min, JM30DS and 30 min yoga. I was gonna do more cardio, went to the doc with my husband instead. Tomorrow I will do something good.

Heidi - well done this morning! I had the same problem with my phone. Since June I had 4 phones:confused:

Sherry - good job this morning. LOL, about getting old:confused: tell me about it! Keep stretching those shins, arrr...

real quick - Firm Cardio Sculpt Blaster (30 min circuit), brisk dog walk for warm up and cool down, and 2 miles of sprint intervals. Over 500 calories burned!


Heidi - fingers crossed that the TM can be fixed!

Belinda - Darn internet! Hope DH is doing ok.

Today was LB, so did Firm Body Sculpt lower only. We'll see how the quads feel tomorrow.

Today DS had a cross country match. Tomorrow DD has a soccer game. At least the kids are keeping fit.

Hallo everyone,

Ended up at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland:confused: My left ear is so swollen again:(I layed in the ER for over 5 hours. They took such a good care off me, I was impressed. We couldn't find a ENT doc on call around here, so I ask my husband to take me to the military hospital instead us trying to figure where to go? They took me in right away and the doctors were so nice. Had 2 ER doctors taking care off me:D they said they never seen anything like this before, they also set up an appt with the ENT doc on Monday. At least I got the ball rolling for the ENT doc there and I will stay here instead looking for one around here. I am on antibotics and heavy pain killers. I am in so much pain, I can't bent over my head:confused: my ears are pulsined !!!!Haven't got a workout in since Friday. Oh well!

I did lose over 5 + lb the last 2 weeks:p I am very happy with that!

Sherry - nice job yesterday with your leg workout.
