WO done - HiiT 40/20. Was going to do AS, but didn't have an hour's worth of high intensity energy in me. 40/20 plus dog walk was enough today.

I talk a lot about eating better, but don't seem to quite make it there. Especially in the afternoon right when I get home from work. I get the munchies while I'm making dinner (not necessarily junk food, but too many calories of good food). Got any suggestions? Haven't been as good about the crockpot lately. Maybe that's the key? Also, getting very tired of chicken; whole family is. Maybe it's a phase we're going thru.

Heidi - Great run! How long/far is R 5.0? How are you holding up for today's snow storm? Hope all is ok.

Belinda - Nice job again on D14. How's the rest of the body holdling up? Do you have any other Susan Chung wo's? The Rapid Fire 3 looks good. I do like kickboxing.

Think I'm hitting it early tonight. Tomorrow's another one of those driving days (4 hours out, 4 hours back).

Today is cario day, not sure what I will do today?

Sherry - good job on HiiT 40/20. My eating is out of control too. Like you I get the munchies. I started logging my food again in MFP. Hope this helps me. So far my foot is doing a little better. If I stand on my feet all day long it;s bordering me. I was afraid the KB would hurt it, but it didn't. I only have Rapid Fire 3. Thinking getting her ather onces? Do I really need anymore DVDs?

Ended up taking a rest day. Wasn't feeling good, my sinus are acting up again.Today I will do D15 (BB).

Heidi - nothing? My sinus bordered me, plus I was so tired? Glad you got your pwoer back.

Hi all!

Thursday - no wo - it was the driving day

Friday - dog walk and tried to run in the evening on the TM, but at about a mile a spider dropped down right in front of my face . . . and that was the end of that.

Today - I'm about to leave to go to a Chi Running clinic. The idea of Chi Running is proper form for injury prevention. I expect to learn a lot that will help me with my frequent ITB issues.


Belinda - Please tell DH Happy Birthday! Nice job on D15. As for the foot and KB, I actually find that KB done barefoot really helps work the foot, and in a good way. I'll do plyo barefoot sometimes, too. Maybe something to try? As for number of DVD's, we won't really go there. :)


Heidi - Glad this 2nd storm didn't knock out power for too long. Hope you can get some time for a wo this weekend.


Off to dress in layers for the run clinic. BBL!

Sherry: LOL! So that spider took over your TM eh? ;) These days it doesn't take much for me to forego my workouts. Just don't have it in me after long days and lack of sleep.
So what did you think of the Chi Running clinic? What did you do for the first day?

I am up early thanks to my kitty. Trying to get moving towards a workout just don't know what to do yet. I know I will feel better if I DO SOMETHING. Just getting down there to do it is a challenge and it is cold here!

Hi all! Happy Sunny Sunday!

The Chi Running clinic was good. There is a lot of focus on posture in daily living, and exercises to do to get the body back in alignment, like lots of core work! We worked on running form and pace as well. So much to take in. There's a book also, which I'm sure will make much more sense now.

As for wo's, dog walk today. Just taking it easy today (in between laundry, cleaning, groceries, etc) as I figure out how to get the exercises incorporated into some kind of rotation, since she also encouraged strength training for UB as well as LB. So, how the heck to I fit all that into a day? I could easily spend 3+ hours working out, and sometimes I struggle to find 30 minutes!

Heidi - Great run plus legs and abs! Yeah, that spider pretty much freaked me out. Kind of sad that I didn't just get going again . . . so lack of motivation some days!

Belinda - Hope DH enjoyed his B-day and you are also enjoying the weekend.

Sorry for not checking in, it was a long and busy weekend. Thanks for all the bday wishes for DH. He had a wonderful day. On Saturday I went with Aleisa apartment shopping for her, we would a really nice studio apartment for her. She is moving in Jan 11:( I am sad and excited for her at the same time. I know driving to work every day, 2 hours one way is killing her. Aleisa and I also looked at sofas for her, we found a nice one in Macy's.


I have no workout to report since Friday. Today I will do D16 today.

Sherry - good for you taking it easy. It sounds like a lot to take into:eek: I am sure, you will figure it out soon.

Heidi - what are your plans today?

Yesterday I did an itread 18 walking series. That's it.

Today I am planning on a CTX weight workout. Looking for a rotation right now. Later I will do R 1.0 for extra cardio.

Morning everyone,

I forgot to mention we picked up Chu Chu (our dog) last Friday from bootcamp. He stayed there for 2 weeks. We have to bring him every day for 2 weeks to training, so the dog doesn't forget what he lerned. My dog is a different dog and he listens. Last night I was training him for an hour at camp. I am impressed with Chu Chu. Thinking about taking the other dogs to boot camp, with isn't cheap! For the next 2 weeks that is what I will be doing at night, training the dog at camp.

Not sure, what I will do today? Need to do some cardio.

What are your plans today?

Hi all!

No wo to report for either Monday or Tuesday. Just got too busy right after work on both days, and by the time I could wo I was just too darned tired. However, today I do plan to get it done - think I might do Crosstrain Express for the next several days to get me in the spirit for XTrain!

I've started reading the Chi Running book, and it makes so much sense after the clinic. I'm going to try to start running barefoot on the treadmill. She had me run without shoes on during the clinic and it made a big difference in my form without having to think about it. Not ready to spend the $'s on new minimal shoes yet, so want to see if I get make some progress this way first.


Belinda - I'm sure I'll feel the same way when the kids move out - excited yet also sad. Nice that the dog training worke dout so well, but I am sure it cost a pretty penny if the dog had to stay there, too. Did you figure out your cardio for today?


Heidi - At least you can get some walking in, right? As for rotation, do you think we'd make progress if we did CTS for a couple of weeks? Silly question - any wo is making moer progress than none. Well, that's what I'm thinking about. They are short enough to tack on some more core work or a short barefoot run in the TM. Want to join in?

Just came back from a walk/run. Went for 35 min. Now my right foot (PF) is killing me, I knew it would happend. Just wanted to see if I still had it in me, since I haven't ran let's say forever, lol. I need to ice my foot tonight.

Sherry - I hear you on having on being to busy. Happend to me last week, just didn't had time, by the time I got home after running around with DD (apartment shopping) I was beat. Great idea doing the CTX until xtrain cames out.

Belinda: Oh Wow that CTX upper got me good! Now I have DOMS in my abs, back and tri's! LOL!
How is your foot now? Sorry that keeps happening! However good job getting out there and doing it anyway. ;) I will go for a walk with DH when he gets home.

I went to bed last night with a headache and still woke with it. Stayed home today from work...it was a slow day anyway.

Sherry: Oh great! Join me in CTX! :) Did you do a workout yesterday with it? Which one are you planning on tonight?

Yesterday was: icycle #10 20min to warm-up. CTX Back and Tri's. Felt every bit of it! ;)

Tomorrow I will do: R 1.0 and then CTX Shoulders, Biceps and Chest. Friday is a leg day for sure!

Heidi - sorry about your headache. Hope you feel better soon. To bad, I am doing STS. I would join in the fun with CTX. It's a fantastic series:rolleyes: Good job on the DOMS. I have DOMS in my chest:confused:

Off to cook dinner, than I will work my abs. Still have to take the dog to training at 6. I will try to be back later.
