Getting it DONE for November!!

Hi all!

Finally, a wo tonight! CTX Power Circuits. I forgot how much jumping was in this one. Didn't go very heavy on the weights, for either legs or back, but those planks . . . just about did me in. I definitely couldn't hold them anywhere near as long as Cathe. I need core work, so bring on more! I'm just planning to go through them in order I think,unless one of you has an idea.

Oh, and I did my core/posture exercises from the running clinic. I should have some nice core DOMS tomorrow!

Belinda - So sorry about your foot. Sending lots of empathy. I'd be just as frustrated. Though for me, it's the hip acting up. I can feel the lo grade inflammation. Time for ice and anti-inflammatories.

Heidi - See what I did above. I think the UB premix would do me just about the same - lots of DOMS! So sorry about your headache. Sending you empathy, too! What's on your plate for tomorrow - hopefully no headache and no stress?

Time to head to bed. Glad I got something done, and plan to do it again tomorrow. See ya then.

I think I over did it yesterday, my foot is killing me today. Oh well! I was icing it last night. I am an idiot:eek:


Today I have D17 on tap, I may switch to D18 instead. To give my foot a break.

Sherry - Sending you empathy, too! Are you taking any meds for your hip? Great job yesterday. Take it easy on the impact. I think there is a CTX rotation somewhere on the Rotation forum? I think doing them in order, should be fine. How long are you planning on doing CTX?

Hi all!

WO done. Dog walk, then 1 mile barefoot (ok, with socks) easy run on the tm, followed by SM#3 w/band. I was told to start slow and easy, and I did. I could really feel the difference in my lower calves and feet.

As for rotation, doing CTExpress with running. After you asked I started thinking maybe Timesaver after that. If time is always my excuse, that DVD should be the end all, right? I don't seem to do well with set-out rotations - just can't seem to stick to the schedule. Hoping that sometime in the (probably not so near) future, I'll be better at making me the priority.

As for my hip, I think I'm ultra-sensitive to it now, and can feel the slightest bit of difference, so take measures to stop it right away. Or maybe I'm just neurotic (my kids might lean towards the latter1 LOL!).

Belinda - So sorry about your foot! Were you able to wo at all, or did you end up resting it all day? How are things coming together for your DD's apt?

Heidi - Did you get any time for you today?

Karen - Hoping you aren't buried with school!

Sherry: Nice job on your workouts! :) Yesterday was a bust for mine. Work was very hectic and had a meeting at 2PM. Got home late and collapsed.
I am with you on not actually being able to follow a rotation start to finish. Something always seems to mess it up and then I feel quilty...you know what I mean?
Keep up with the stretching. I hear you on the sensitivity factor. I get that with my left shin or my right calf muscle. I try my best not to think too deeply about it and just do a little extra stretch for it. ;)

Belinda: OI! Be careful on your foot! Have a great workout with D18 and add extra stretch for your footie. ;)

I think to some degree we are just knocking our selves out with workouts. LOL! We have to remember our bodies aren't as quick to snapping back like they used to. Every thing in moderation right? ;)

Today I will do Leaner Legs...modified not to kill myself. LOL! After I will do CC #3 run on the TM. Making up for missing my run yesterday.

Hi all!

Day off work today (co. observation of Veteran's Day which conveniently coincides with the opening of hunting season), so scheduled dog to the vet and me to the eye dr (need another year's worth of contacts).

Calves are doing ok today - a bit of DOMs but nothing to worry about. And feeling nothing in the hip. :) Think I'll stay with the 1 mile easy barefoot runs for a bit - no longer or faster at this point.

WO plans for the day are one of the cardio's from CTX - whatever's next in order on the disc - followed with some extra core work.


Heidi - Your legs will be feeling it later today! I know exactly how you feel when you get off schedule in a rotation. Need to keep it more fluid, but still get it done.

Belinda - how's your foot today? Hope it doesn't keep you down today.

Went to the doc with my son this morning. DS broke his toe:confused:. Since DS saw the same doc I did a few weeks ago, I ask the doc about my xrays the other day. I have a bone spur and my L3 +L4 are messed up again. He is sending DS and me to a podiatrist. At least now I know what's causing all that pain in my foot. Today is cardio, can't hardly walk. So I think I will do a barre workout? Not sure yet?
 
Sherry - enjoy your day off and cardio today. Take it easy on your hip.

10-10-10 plus core work done! Maybe not the best choice - my lower calves are aching a bit this a.m., so I kept it lower impact, but still a good wo.

Heidi - Yay! You are done! But can you walk? :)

Belinda - Well, at least they know what is wrong. Hopefully the next doc can help. Sorry about DS. Between the two of you . . . Sending healing vibes!

Oh Belinda! You guys must be having a run of bad luck. Sorry about your sons toe. Not much they can do for those...between me and my sons it was like that. ;) Maybe depends on which one he broke so hopefully they can do something for him.
Now you have info. to get help that is great news! I hope they can help you as well with your back and foot issues.

Sherry: How was your day off? :) Awesome job on your workout!

Oh I am feeling my quads today especially after my TM 3mile interval workout. I did PLB warm-up to start off and then the run followed by PLB stretch. I followed up with ab circuits med ball abs. :)
NOW I AM REALLY FEELING ALL OF MY LEG DOMS. ;)

Just finshed making some sweet potato with roasted garlic soup from a Tosca Reno recipe. YUM! My favorite for sure! This will be part of my lunches for this week.

Morning girls,

Sorry for not checking in since Friday. Friday I did 30 min TB with Gilad (Tight/back + abs). Very good workout. DD and I were sore yesterday, lol. Yesterday I didn't do anything, except ran errands with DD. Today I need to get D18 (Back/Triceps) + abs in.

I am not sure if I should order the new Brazil Butt Lift master for Alesia, not sure how it compares to the older series? Who ordered this seires? and how do you like it?

Sherry - now I want to do CTX. Yeah, now I know what is wrong with my heel. Thanks for the healing vibes. How is your hip doing?

Heidi - the doc looked a. t the xrays pic from DS, he said he needs a rod in his big btoe! DS has a broken toe since 2 month and it's not healing. That soup recipe sounds delish. If you have time can you post the recipe. You posted her humus recipe for me last year. I love that recipe. So delish!!

Yesterday just a dog walk, plus a dog wash car wash and lots of errands.

Today is dog walk plus 1 mile barefoot run on TM. Plan to do CTX Kickbox and core work this evening. DD and I are headed off shortly to see Breaking Dawn P2 in a few.

Belinda - Good job keeping up with your workouts, even with your foot problems. Poor DS! How soon is the doc wanting to schedule that? Don't know anything about BBL - although sounds like it would do my rear some good.

Heidi - WOW! PLB and a run with the quad DOMS already! The soup does sound delish. Is it in her cook book?

Time to roll with DD. Have a good one.

Never got that kickbox wo in last night so that's what I'll do tonight.

Starting to feel the pressure of the holidays, but also think I have a plan. If I keep stress under control, I won't binge, right?

I did my workout this afternoon, just didn't had time to post. Had to get ready for dog training and cooking dinner.

I did 30 min circuit workout with Cindy Whitmarch + 10 standing abs w/ Jessica Smith + 10 min bun/tight w/ Cindy Whitmarch.

Sherry - did you get your KB workout in? No pressure, it's only one day. Have a glass of wine before you start cooking. That's what I do:p Enjoy!

No wo yesterday - between making dinner, laundry, cleaning house and a headache, it fell off the list.

Today is another probably not.

Tomorrow is the Turkey 5K, so I know I'll get in a run.

Life is crazy next few days, so not sure how much I'll be on.

I will be cooking and getting things ready for guests. Another busy day but plan on an early TM run. ;)
