Will do my last week of Bob's rotation:) seeing nice results! will definatly do it again;)

Did lots of yard work (planting/pulling weeds) yesterday. Still have a little left, will finish it up this week;)

Long busy yard workout weekend for me! I am sore from this weeks w/o's so Saturday was meant as a rest day. Sunday I intended on doing Shred it w/weights but did more yard work instead. Believe me...I am sore!!!!

Today will be a TM running workout and 6wk 6pack abs.

Belinda: Your weekend sounds much like mine. ;) Yard work hits every muscle!
What BH workout do you have planned for today? Nice to hear your results too! :)

Hey Everyone,

Sounds like we all got a fair share of yard work done this weekend! Does anyone where their HRM when doing yard work? I would be curious as too how many calories you can burn doing that work.

No workout for me yet today. PUB is on tap, I will see if I can squeeze it in tonight after work. They have us staying a few hours later today due to a big IPad training/rollout. Hopefully I can escape early....

I feel as though my eating and workouts haven't been very consistent. I've got a goal in mind, but then I always let my mind talk me out of them. (like you're too tired...you can skip this workout....or...one chocolate bar won't hurt you...) Evil I tell you!! I need to get back in the "kick butt" state of mind that I had when I left the roadtrip.... One big thing for me is not staying with the same schedule even on the weekends. I stayed up late again a couple of nights so this morning at 445 it just wasn't going to happen... sigh.

Heidi - Have fun with abs and your run! Do you run outside at all when the weather is nice?

Belinda - Can't wait to get my bob dvds! Have fun!

Sherry - how did your weekend shape up in the end?

ps. had two big bites on my leg this morning...mosquito? SPIDER??? (God forbid!)

I wore my new HR for the first time doing Bob's Body Rev/Cario Conditioning, I burned 586 cal. Had no idea, I was burning that much:eek: knew it wasn't 200 cal like my old HR read for the last 3 weeks. I sweat my a$$ off w/ Bob's workouts. They are all tough and I don't think I ever sweat that much with a workout:eek: I am soaked aftewards! And the best part, the scale is fianlly moving again.

Heidi - have fun with your abs and TM run today.

Karen - I bet you burned lots of cal this weekend. Have fun with PUB today.

Sherry - you are almost done! Yeah! Are you gonna go for another run today?

Off to get the house clean, still haven't decited what to cook?

Back to report my workout is finished. Treadmill Challengers interval w/o 40min and 3miles.
JM 6wk 6pk. Phew! I was fried just from round 1!

Showered and off at work now. Make it a good one!

Karen: I thought of doing that too with yard work! LOL! I am sure we burn quite a lot for sure.
Darn those evil demons! LOL! You have to be stronger then that devil for sure. If you can plan your meals and have some ready for a quick grab and go it helps. As for those workouts you just have to throw on those clothes and get to it. Procrastination is terrible and can lead you back to the fridge or BED! I find myself doing that and I feel so much better once I get moving. Once I start I am going to finish it no matter what!

EEK! I hope its not a spider bite! I hate spiders!!!! YUCK! LOL!

As for my running...I have been trying to get back to road running but my shins just bother me way too much. Trails are better for me or the TM. It is raining here so I did the TM workout today. ;)

My friend ordered the BH series too and they came today! She is coming over tonight to take a look at them with me. It took about a week for the delivery. I hope you get yours soon too! :)

Belinda: AWESOME cal burn today! Now you know why my w/o's have such high calorie burn rates. Wearing the HRM really says how hard your working out. After doing JM last week I found I was completely drenched too. Great job getting it done! Have fun with your house cleaning....the job that never ends. haha :)

Ok, I'm back!

Got out of work really late - starving when I got home. Took the pup out for his walk and then as dinner was cooking I did PUB - Pyramid Down premix. I figured anything is better than nothing - right? Now I'm ready for bed.

Heidi - So what were your thoughts on the BH previews with your friend? I'm with you on trails for running (or walking for that matter). Having to dodge logs and stones is much more interesting than trying to avoid stepping on another crack in the sidewalk. :) Thanks for the encouragement about working out and eating better. I know all of it, but sometimes I need to be reminded my someone other than myself. :)

BTW, I hate spiders also. I can take some of them if they are outside...but if I see them in the house I need to get rid of them because they are on to my "squishing". Here is an example of a smart spider:

I was cleaning in the spare bedroom all morning one day. There was a spider in the crack of the ceiling the whole time (looked like it had a little hub of a web that it was sitting in). Our bedroom was in disarray and we could not sleep in that bed, so DH and I laid down to take a nap in the afternoon in the spare room. I had my eyes open watching the spider thinking it was odd that it hadn't moved the whole day. (it was above some stuff and not easily accessible) I rolled over and closed my eyes for no more than 3 minutes, rolled back and opened my eyes and the little shit was GONE! JUst goes to prove they are keeping an eye on you and they know when to MOVE! sigh.

Belinda - what HRM do you have? I have a nike one but hardly wear it anymore as I don't think it works very well anymore. It was frustrating when it didn't work so I just quit with it. I never used the information for my benefit anyway (ie. ins/outs of calories every day)

Yesterday was plant the flowers Mom brought up, dig up some flowers for them to take with them, and since I had already dug so much, went ahead and moved some stuff around that I had been wanting to do. At the end of the day, I was exhausted.

Shat's about where I am now, so I'll catch up on personals tomorrow.

Karen: EEK! I have chills thinking of that spider! Sneaky little critter! HAHA

My friend did BH Beginners last night here and she commented that it was at Puke level for her...EEWWW but hey that is a good description right? LOL! I have looked at Total Body and Ultimate Cardio. These look tough and use a lot of shoulder moves. This I would have to be careful on for a shoulder injury years ago. LIGHT WEIGHTS FOR SURE IF AT ALL! to start out anyway.
I really like the yoga for the warrior! :)

Great job on your PUB workout last night! How are those arms feeling today? ;)

Sherry: Nice job getting in your run and stretch! ;) Oh what fun trading plants! :) I wish my Mom still had a garden to do this with her. She always had a nice one and interesting plants. :)

Belinda: How are you doing today? :) What's your plan?

Today's w/o kicked my butt for sure! 7 circuits in 55:45min and burned 765cals! PHEW!

Tomorrow I will do Killer buns and a cycle.

Today was a double header for me. THis AM I did PLB and tonight I had my Piyo class. I am feeling the DOMS already...

Heidi - The DVD's came today! I have it sitting next to me, I haven't opened it yet... I also got a big package of books for my summer classes. Ugh, don't remind me! Great work with JM today!

Belinda - You're forgiven for posting so late! ;) Good job with getting it done. I hope you have more energy tomorrow.

JM Killer Buns level 2 but only 15min worth. Legs are sore and weak!

Just a quick check in - This morning I couldn't wait to try the Bob dvd's so because I am all tight from my workouts the last few days I tried his Warrior yoga (or whatever its called). Belinda - you are right - Bob is motivating! The workout was a good level of tough. Those half moon poses had me shakin'! Heidi - I did get the ones I ordered (phew!). I think I will check out his other method dvd's as well. I see he had some kettlebell workouts....

More ipad training today so I get to stay 2 hours past my normal day. They keep telling us "its in our contract to work overtime" (ie. and not get paid for it) Screw that, I'm taking a half day tomorrow. My time isn't "free"! (I know, horrible attitude)

Karen - I am so happy you like Bob's yoga for the worrior. He is tough, I really like him. I am thinking adding another week with his rotatation? Or, maybe I will jump into this 2nd rotation??? So far, I lost 6 pounds:eek: I don't get bored with Bob:D Bob is motivating! Maybe I need to order the beginner DVD??

Heidi - I been reading on College Videos, that his beginner one is tough? Maybe I will get that one later? I can't believe you doing Killer Buns and a cycle in one day:eek: you go, girl! How are your legs?

Hi all!

Counting down, right now to the end of track which is at the end of the month. Feel like all I'm doing sometimes is checking it off the list. LOL! Until then, it feels like go-go-go. I do want to get in a run tonight, but good luck with that - both kids have meets.

Glad you are all burning it up - maybe even doing some for me! Haven't gotten around to ordering DVD's yet. Heck, I'm just trying to keep food in the house (darn growing kids!). Maybe if we encouraged them to be couch potatoes they'd slow down . . .

Gotta get the guest room sheets/towels done tonight, as my brother is coming for the weekend with his girlfriend, and they're bringing her dog, too.
No, don't have food for that yet either.

Did I mention that I also have an out of town trip tomorrow. Gotta catch my breath sometime!

Karen - Saw an article to adress arachnophbia which involves touch therapy, but can cure it quickly. Let me know how that goes, and then maybe I'll consider it. LOL!

Heidi - Lilies, hostas and ivy. Everything looks spectacular except the ivy. 'Course I am trying to grow it in a place where nothing else will grow, but hey, it's ivy so it's gotta take, right?

Belinda - How's DH doing in therapy? I'm sure it's improving, just not fast enough for him . . . or you.

I will do Bure Burn today. Aleisa wanted to do a 30 min wo DVD after work. She ask me to find her a good one, LOL. I pulled out Bob's Workout #1. She was that one was tough, she was sweating like crazy. Love it! She like Bob.

Sherry - hope you get to relax this weekend. Therapy is going well, they did released him from home therapy, now we have to go to therapy in town, which is only 5 min away. He is doing great. Thanks for asking. Nice run/walk today.

Heidi and Karen - what are your plans today?

I slept for crap last night, but kept thinking "I must work out in the morning". So the alarm went off, I was soo tired, but I got up anyway. I GOT MY BUTT KICKED BY CATHE! hehe I did Afterburn...OMG she literally did kick my butt. Love that workout!

Sherry - I don't think I will be doing any touch therapy with spiders!! My DH keeps saying we need a tarantula so that it will help me get over it. He just doesn't get it. I don't mind if spiders are in a cage...I don't like when they are just wandering around! Speaking of phobias... as weird as it may seem to be afraid of spiders (which are typically so much smaller than you) my future sister in law is scared of cats!! Weird.
Good job with getting in a run (even if it was shorter than you wanted) and a stretch!

Belinda - Great job with Pure Burn! Is this your last week with Bobs rotation? I can't tell you how stretched out I felt after doing his yoga. Today I hardly noticed issues with my jaw too, I wonder if something may be out of alignment in my spine which is causing the jaw to shift. I may just need to do some yoga every other day if it helps! (still haven't called to schedule my wisdom teeth being pulled...)

Heidi - How was your Thursday?

With the overtime I worked this week I left a little early from work today. I wanted to take a nap, but DH couldn't sleep so we went and got a load of mulch and did more yard work! Its really coming together. I'll post some pictures as we get more done... Lots of weeds and mulching to take care of....
