Getting it done for May 2015

It's Saturday!

Recapping the week:
Wed - DD's soccer game across town - no wo
Thurs - Senior night at soccer game, means juniors do all the work, so no wo
Fri - clean house when I get home from work, and then in-laws arrived for the weekend, so no wo
Sat - took DS to get wisdom teeth pulled, then dog walk and run (3 mile run, 1 mile walk because IT band tugged at 1 mile away from home =- argh!)

Belinda - Looks like you are doing a great job keeping up with your wo's. Wondering what exactly you were doing with the band that was so awkward? Confused. Enjoy your day in DC.

Heidi - Hope your hamstring is better and you get a chance to both rest and wo this weekend. Too funny about the bird. At least it's out.

Busy weekend so far with yard/housework. What else do I do right on the weekends? LOL!

Yesterday was my DH's BD. We did yard work and opened the pool. Filling it now to get ready for the season.

No workouts since Friday or was that Thursday? The days are just flying by...

Family will be visiting at some point this afternoon but I hope to get in a run or SOMETHING before that.

I have logged in the May 2015 rotation in my calendar. I start tomorrow with any luck! Tomorrow will be another busy catch-up on work
day due to being closed for the holiday.

The end of the weekend . . .

Yesterday, took the dog for a walk, but time was spent entertaining the visitors.

Today - they left this morning, so then on to the normal weekend stuff - laundry, groceries, yardwork and a run - on the tm so could do it while getting laundry done - and no IT pain!!!!!

Just gotta make it through this crazy week (prom, soccer playoffs), and then should be able to get back on track.

Heidi - Yay, filling the pool, a sure sign that summer is finally here. Hope you and DH were able to enjoy his birthday a bit and not just do yardwork.

Belinda - Hope you enjoyed DC.

Gotta shower and go to bed. Back at it tomorrow. Catch ya then.

We had a blast in DC this weekend :) You guys are rocking your workouts.

Sherry - we did had a lot of fun. Went to the Zoo and walked for hours on Sunday. Glad you had fun too.

Heidi - I went and saw my son and his fiancé in DC. We celebrated my bday and mother's day, since I was out of town on those 2 day's. How about you? Happy Birthday to your DH :)

I have to laugh at DH he is sooo silly. He had nice weather for his BD and that was what counted the most for him. ;) We worked on the
pool but nothing too strenuous. My son and I mowed the lawn also as part of his gift. One less thing for him to worry about. :)

Monday we had a cookout. Sort of a lazy day really. I think we were all exhausted from the yard work from the past couple days.

I haven't done any workouts in days!!!! So today I got out the butt glue remover and this is what I did:
SSOD : SPEED SPIN 16: MAXIMUM BURN-HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING
CLASS WITH CAT 5-24-2015
THIS KICKED MY BUTT INTO GEAR! PHEW!
Then added a quick Power Strength workout from ZCut DVD #1 WO #1. THIS ALSO KICKED MY BUTT! LOL ;0

I am changing my mind again on my rotation. Yup rotationally challenged for sure! I think I just need short a sweet instead
of these longer workouts from Cathe's May rotation. If I had more time I would attempt them. Lately I am just overwhelmed with
work obligations.

Belinda: Nice job this morning! Sounds like you had a great weekend too. :)

Sherry: Oh nice! Great job on the run! I hear ya on getting things back to normal after such a busy week and then having guests too. :)
I hope this week passes quickly for you!

Hi all!

Yesterday - no wo. Got busy doing stuff here at home.

Today - DD's prom, so lots of prep and pictures, but after she left, sprints plus dog walk for wu and cd, finished with a stretch.

Belinda - I bet you got in all your steps with all that walking. DC is such a great city for that. Nice that you got to celebrate recent holidays with the kids. I bet that Pilates worked your core good today.

Heidi - Think you made up for no wo's with that monster today! Sounds like a nice b-day for your DH. I agree on needing shorter wo's. DS thinking about P90X3. If he starts, I might, too, just to keep him motivated. We'll see.

Seriously, I'm wiped. That's it for today. Catch ya tomorrow.

Sherry - we do walk a lot in DC :) I love the shorter workouts. You alway add on if you want too.

Heidi - wtg, on your double workout yesterday. You sure made up for this weekend. Sounds like a nice birthday for your husband :) Hope you all had fun.

Woke with a headache so tried to run it off on the TM. Runervals 1.0
Then Ab Attack WO from SSOD website.

I still have this darn migraine! Argh! Its making it hard to concentrate on anything or rest. Just made a strong cup of tea
so maybe this will help.

It is so muggy here and now we had thundershowers to top it off. Yuck. Well at least it is warmer now. LOL!

21 DF Ext. Cardio is done :) I am a sweaty mess. That is one tough workout.

Heidi - glad you had fun this weekend. I hope that run took care of your headache :) Have you seen a doctor for your migraine ? Hope you feel better ((HUGS))

My headache is better today but lingering. Woke annoyingly at 4am! Oh Well, at least it got me up and prepared for
my work day.

Today's WO:

SSOD bike with Brooke WOW!
Then ZCuts Strength Disc 1 WO 2 with the stretch. The stretch was good and needed.

I think I like my mix so far of bike one day and run the next. ;) Adding in either abs or some sort of weight workout after. I
hope these shorter workouts will give me some results.

Good morning,

I will do 21 DF Ext. Dirty 30 shortly :) I am still in DC. Had a wonderful day with Alesia. We went to a Spa and had our hair done. In the evening we went to a wine bar on H Street.

Heidi - I had a blast yesterday. Hope you feel better soon. Headaches are the worst!

Headache is better but it is just hanging in there just to bug me.

Yesterday was a busy yard and pool day. The pool is now open! :) Love sitting out there in the morning with my coffee.
My workout later in the afternoon:
itread #1 20 min (actually more like 25min. )
Zcut Power Strength Disc 1 WO #3. PHEW!

Rest of the evening was spent relaxing.
