GETTING IT DONE FOR MARCH!!

Morning all!

Frustrated - can't get our schedules to work for me. DS has track practice right after school 'til 4:30, but DD has soccer 5:30-7:30. I get home before DH, so I get to shuttle the kids aroundas well as prepare dinner. Their homework load has been heavy lately, too, so can't get as much help from them. Plus, weather has taken a dive, too - cold with snow showers constantly. The time change was supposed to make it easier in the evenings. Argh!

So, all that venting to say no wo last night or this a.m.

At least the eating has been on track - not perfect but a lot more salads.

Belinda - great wo! How do you like the hair?

Heidi - is your rotation over? Don't like the way my clothes are fitting, either. It's proving my body needs strength training as well as cardio.

Oh Sherry! Your schedule is pretty full for sure. Can you stick to alternating morning of cardio one day and weights on another?

No w/o today... Work calls. :/ plus I am pretty sore all over! Lol!
I will do AT tomorrow morning for sure. :) it should be an easier day seeing as its the end of the week.

Ty! I am trying to get things scheduled but some days just don't pan out. Try try again.

I am feeling my w/o's from legs and upper for sure! My calves especially! Thought of running but that was it. Lol! They are too tight at this point so will just stretch out instead.
Will aim for AT tomorrow.

As for my rotation I decided to add in march rotation here and there seeing as I have been doing XT upper mostly the last couple months.

Heidi - I love Washington, DC. You will walk alot. I miss my family, can't wait to see them again. We do talk on skype/phone almost daily, which helps. How are your legs feeling today? Have fun with AT today.

Good morning!

Sorry I've been MIA - life has been crazy this past week with the time change and spring sports starting. DD did make varsity soccer as a freshman! She is so psyched! DS has been loaded up this week with hw in addition to track, so he's just plain exhausted.

I was able to get in some dog walks between the running around, and finally this morning I did a real wo - Insanity Max Interval Circuit. Loved the sweat!


Belinda - So glad you love the hair, are making plans to see your family, and have found some cardio that doesn't hurt your foot! Does Cath'e LIS bother your foot, too?

Heidi - You are getting some intense wo's in lately! Way to go! That's the idea, right? - make it intense when you can do them so they are worth it!


Snowed about 1" last night, and shortly we'll be heading out to a soccer invitational all day. DS is going to play paintball. Can't let the lack of spring weather slow us down. We're all so ancy for sun and warmth!

I did BBL High & Tight.

My lap got bit from my neighbors dog. She bit him through the fence. My lap was bleeding on his nose, we called the vet and he told us if it stops bleeding not to worry about. Today DH and I will go to Home Depot and pick up chicken wire for the fence. We do have a HOA, we can't just put up any fence. Our house is a Colonial style. My neighbors dogs hate mine, they always try to attack them. This time her dogs nose got through the fence.

Sherry - I do have LIS, need to pull them out. Good job keeping up with your workouts.

Heidi - what are your plans today?

Sherry: It isnt snowing but we are back to freezing weather. I am with you on wanting it to be warmer and spring like.

Yup! that's the plan on getting it done for me. If I can't do a workout everyday I can at least get a good hard workout in to make up for it. HEHE

Belinda: ARGH! Sorry to hear about your dog getting hurt. Very frustrating I am sure.

Ok so here it is almost 5:30 and I have been cleaning stuff up all day. I haven't done my w/o yet and now I am best. Maybe just call it a day and my w/o was cleaning and washing floors. Lol!

Tomorrow I will start out right and get my w/o in first.

WO done today - two in a row - a dog walk followed by Insanity Max Interval Plyo.

Rest of day was filled with homework, house stuff - the usual weekend work.

Belinda - That's so frustrating about the dogs. I hope yours is ok.

Heidi - Are those floors shining? How sore were you today from that wo?

Sorry for not checking in this weekend. Saturday DH and I went out for dinner. Yesterday I went shopping with Aleisa. We went to Target, they had those cute lamps 50% off, but they only had one. The lady scanned the it and told us where we could buy the other one, ended up driving half way to DC. LOL! Ended up buying more than a lamp,lol.:eek: I also picked up a carpet for kitchen and a clock. Go firgure!
DH and DS put up more fence, at least the dogs teeth can't get through the fence anymore.

My stomach isn't feeling well since yesterday, hope I didn't caught the flue. DH/DS and DD were sick last week.

Will wait until this afternoon with my workout, I wonna make sure my stomache is fine. Woke up a few time last night too.

Heidi and Sherry, good job this weekend. I didn't get one workout in this weekend:mad:

I did get in a wo last nght - Insanity Max Cardio Contditioning. Tonight might just be a recovery day. I was very stiff this morning and still am, so might just stretch and roll everything out.

Belinda - Hope you are feeling better. At least you were able to get in a wo. How do you Like Jackie Warner. I glanced by here TV show a couple times and just wasn't into her. Too funny about Target - I think that store has a $100 admission price. LOL!

Heidi - Hear some more white stuff is headed your way. Stay safe and warm.

Thanks Sherry! I think I caught whatever my family had last week! I do like Jackie's workout. My arms are on fire today. WTG on Insanity, those are some tough workout.

StretchMax helped immensely. And I rolled everything out. Feeling much better now. Still in denial that I'm "old".

Belinda - glad you are feeling better and that you could get a wo in.

Sherry - I hear you:p Had to face the fact the other day, like high impact:confused:. Can't do it anymore. I do need to start doing more yoga/stretching workouts. Good job!

Just finished:

XT legs:
Ball, chair and floor work.
cycle workout: 25min 6miles
Off to shower and work.

Sherry: We are all about there on needing more stretching. Have to face the fact that we don't recoop like the younger years. Every workout seems to get me these days.
Man that leg workout is really tough on the hamstrings and felt the burn for sure!
Nice job on getting in your workouts and added stretching. :)

Yesterday we had another 10" of snow. ARGH! Then it snowed another 1-2 over night. This stuff was really heavy to shovel yesterday! Maybe this is why I have some back DOMS today.

Belinda: Have a great workout with TJ! Sounds like a lot of fun. :)

My workouts thus far:
Mon: Burn sets for bi/tri with core 1
Tues: 4mile Hill climber run (this was tuff stuff!)
Today: XT legs with bike

Tomorrow will be burn sets for chest, back and shoulders.
