Belinda: Have fun with GS Legs! That's a good one!

I am still feeling my workout from STS/TB!

Saturday night was a 2.92 mile run and then stretch max #3.

Sunday was the shower and I had a good time catching up with family.

Today is LIS/LIC. Well going to attempt it anyway. ;)

Sherry: Nice run! :) It is still muggy here too but should cool hopefully with the incoming storms this week.
What's your plan for today? Any trips out this week?

Karen: You had a busy couple of day! :) How's the back this morning? Your DH's trip sounds like a lot of fun. I have always wanted my own kayak to paddle around the creeks here. I hope he has a great time and be safe out there. :)

OK W/o is done.

I only did the first 2 combos...not very well at that. Just too confused with the foot work.
I ended up doing a cycle workout after for 26min. So my workout total time for today was about 50min.

Tomorrow I will do STS TB again. :)

Heidi - try to do Low Impact Challenge without a step. Good job with LIC and cycle workout today. I need to look up Jan STS/LIS rotation, maybe I will do that one next.

I'll be honest...I just ate a ton of chips and salsa. Now I am sitting here bloated. No real workout for me today either. I did take Raleigh out for a quick 15 minute run/walk this AM before work and also a walk after. I pulled some weeds out front as well and also did some straightening up inside. I know that doesn't count....just trying to be honest. I'll do better tomorrow I promise!

My back is still sore, but not enough for me to be slacking...

Hi all!

Traveling again. Yesterday was a rest day. Today I want to get in a run, but I'm down in TN and it's hot! So may be on the treadmill eventhough there is a nice trail close to the hotel.

I'll catch up after my run this evening.
 
WO done!

It was too hot out for me to run, so I did run on the treadmill at the hotel and banged out 5 miles, which included intervals. Followed that with iStretch Athletic 20 min, and finished it all with one round of P90X style C&B, which DS did at home today. Think that's more than enough for one day!

Heidi - At least you found a solution to get in a good wo today! I've been taking the DVD's with me on my work trips and when I get a bit of time, just reviewing them for footwork. Kind of silly, maybe, but I learn them without feeling like I need to be getting a wo in with them, too. Not everyone sits at the airport watching exercise DVD's and tapping out the steps with their feet. I'm sure others have thought I'm quite the odd one.

Belinda - I enjoy MMA boxing . . . I like how the MMA's really help keep my hips loose. I'll try to get in touch with you in the next day or so. Been really busy while I'm out of town (that 2 hours for the wo was finally my time to be by myself). Can't wait to catch up with you!

Karen - A day off is ok, really, no guilt with this group. How are you and dog handling DH being gone on his expedition? Is he checking in regularly? I'm sure you are also enjoying the quiet, . . . but who's around to get those eight legged monsters that sneak up on you? My DH had so same me twice during my wo the other night - and they were big crunchy ones - well, big to me!

Getting back home tomorrow early, so getting ready to hit the sack now. Hope you had a good one!

EEK! on the spiders! I can handle most now but not those big wolf spiders about the size of tarantulas. Shudder just thinking of them!

Yesterday was STS TB and I went up a little in weights. I did much better with the elevated lunges this time by doing them all. I also did the abs this time. ;) Last time I ran out of energy!

Today will be LIS CSS. Oh Boy! :) Glad it is cooler because I know I will be a sweaty mess by the end. HAHA!

LIS CSS: 1-4 intervals DONE! YUP sweaty mess! I only had time for the first 4 intervals.
My son is heading over shortly and we will go for lunch. It is his 27th birthday today!

Hey Everyone,

Don't worry, I didn't fall into my bag of chips and die of over eating! :p

Last night I did manage to get in PIYO Lesson 22 (just got it in the mail!) and loved it! I may need to teach that lesson this fall. (still undecided on which lesson to choose).

I got a call from DH. He pulled the plug on his expedition. The river is just way to low. He said he was doing more dragging of the kayak than actual paddling down the river. He said that wasn't what he wanted to do, plus he was beat and his feet were all cut up from walking down the river rather than paddling. :( I felt bad for him. I know he had this all planned out and the weather just didn't cooperate for what he had planned. I told him I was still proud of him for trying at least. Some people would have seen how low the river was and throw in the towel before even trying. Still feel bad for him though. :(

This morning I did TurboKick Round 40 (again!). Trying to memorize it so that I can teach that one too...

School is keeping me busy. But not busy enough to keep me from buying junk food while DH is gone!

Sherry - BTW, last night there was a spider on my yoga mat. I think it was a sign that I had been out of the gym for too long! Thankfully it was a small one...no crunching when it was squished. EWWW!

Wasn't feeling well this morning...DH came home a few day's ago with a stomach virus. My stomach is upset since yesterday, but didn't border me during my workout, weird! I just finished MMA Boxing + HiiT DWP.

Karen - good job yesterday. Sorry about your DH.

Hi everyone!

Yesterday no wo. Had to pick DD up from camp after work and just got home too darn late.

Today it hit 100! So, waited until evening for P90X S&A plus ARX, done with DS along side me, followed with a 2 mile very easy run outside, with dog walks for warm up and cool down. Sweating complete buckets. Hoping that facilitates a little weight loss.

Karen - Think you have plenty going on. Good job getting in wo's, too. Too bad about DH's trip.

Belinda - hope you both are feeling better. Amazed how you can still get in a tough wo while you aren't feeling well. Maybe I just give in too easy.

Heidi - How are you hanging in there?

Time to wash the sweat off and head to bed. Have a good one!

I got it DONE early today! LIS Tri Lower body. :) Sweated buckets too!

Yesterday was a house work day. I have started again with the cleaning out of the kitchen cabinets. There is always something that needs to get done around here.

Karen: LOL! So glad you aren't at the bottom of that chip bag! I love salt and I can't buy those or I will be at the bottom! EEK!

Sorry to hear about your DH's vacation cancellation...you just never know with this crazy weather lately. Either too little rain or not enough. Speaking of which we are again having rain and thunderstorms!

Sherry: NICE JOB on your very sweaty workout! LOL! I was thinking the samething on the weight loss. ;) So nice that your son is working out with you too.

Hi all!

Only a dog walk today, as I gave blood so no strenuous exercise.

Tomorrow we leave for vacation, and on Sunday I'll get to meet Belinda in person! Wow! My Cathe friends are real people!

Heidi - Nice job on Tri LB1 I am so loving getting back into weights. I'll need to work hard to keep it up. Though I do think I'll be exchanging the P90X leg work for Cathe - she works my butt so much better.

Belinda and Karen - hope you are both staying cool!

Not sure when and how often I'll be on while we're gone, but don't worry - with this family you know we'll be getting in some runs!
 
Just a quick checkin - then off to bed. I will try to be back for more personals tomorrow.

THis morning I managed a premix of half of cardio supersets, and then did BM2 UB + abs. My arms are already feeling that weight work. Good. I need some DOMS. Feels like I haven't worked out very hard this week...

Sorry for not checking in after my workout, we had some strong storms last night! The storm was so bad it took down our fence. It's completley brocken. I did do GS BCB before dinner.

Today is a rest day, but DH and I are going to Florida next week. I will try to finish my rotation before Wednesday? Not sure, if I get them all in before we take off? We shall see.

I went to see Magic Mike with Aleisa yesterday. She dragged in in their:eek: lol.
 
Today we are going to a street fest in Shaperdstown.

My day yesterday was pool cleaning and then spent rest of day sitting by it. ;) no w/o.
Dh fixed my brakes so for his reward I am taking him out for dinner tonight. :)
