Good morning girls,


I ended up taking a rest day yesterday:eek: Alesia come home after driving all the way to DC just to find out a water pipe broke. They closed the office:eek: We found a nice hair dresser here in town. They even got us wine:p


Today I will do a circuit workout and abs!


I will be back and catch up on personals!
 
Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday I did Cardio Supersets. I was laughing at myself because during the warm up I was yawning. lol I quickly woke up though!

This morning I did TF 55EZ. (who's house? My house. You're in my house!!) <---love some of the music on TF!

TGIF!!!

Sherry - I did not get my abs in the other day. But I did lay more patio bricks that night. :)

Belinda - I hope you enjoyed your rest day! Win at a hair dresser? Sounds fancy! I hope the hairstylists are drinking! :p

Heidi - What are you up to today?

Had my consult with the oral surgeon yesterday afternoon. The wisdom teeth are all coming out next Friday. GULP!!! I will be bringing my ipod with me to try to not focus on them wrenching at my teeth! Chances are pulling the teeth aren't going to help with my jaw issue, but best to get them out now anyway.

Hi all!

I am stiff and achey today! Gotta be from running early yesterday, then sitting in the cold and rain for 5 hours during the county track meet. Glad DD did well (PR'd in the 3200m and the 4x400m relay team just missed a medal), 'cause feel like I'm paying for it. Won't be much different tonight - soccer game in the cold and rain. Don't think I can squeeze in a wo today.

Belinda - Gotta keep that haridresser! Good ones are hard to find! Love the serving wine.

Karen - I do think laying patio brick works the core quite well (and the back, and the arms, and the legs . . .)! New toys - have fun playing with them`1 tell us all about it.

Heidi - What are your plans today? Still feeling the aftereffects of HR?

Hey Everyone,

Another busy weekend in the yard again. Yesterday DH, Pup, and I went for a hike out at Lapham Peak State Park, and then came home and hit the patio work pretty good. Today we did a little more yard work and some much needed relaxation. :) We were both pretty sore. So I went and did Bryan Kests Power Yoga (Energize). I'm feeling pretty good right now.

I'm starting to rethink my next rotation. I was thinking BH's rotation, but now I'm thinking something with more yoga/PIYO. I may have to give it a try and see how I feel. With my jaw/neck issues a more yoga type rotation might do me good. :)

Looks like everyone was busy this weekend. Good job with Intensity Belinda - I like that one!

Quick check in: I don't know what I did to my lower back yesterday:eek: it's killing me! I started right before/after I did Intesnity. I can hardly bent over:confused:I was hoping the pain would go away by now, been taking Ibuprofen. I need to take a muscle relaxer and see if that helps.

Karen - do you have a huge yard? We do, lots of work every weekend. Great plan on your next rotation. If your jaw/neck hurts take it easy.

Sherry & Heidi - how are you doing?


I will give my back a break, hoping to get a workout in tomorrow.

Quick check-in (looks like we're all on the run):

Yesterday was a 1 mile dog walk to warm up, then a 4 mile run, in which the 2 miles out were absolutely fantastic, then the 2 miles back were grueling: felt like up hill the whole way with the sun beating down on me and no breeze. finished it off with STS Extended stretch, then headed to DD's last soccer game of the season, followed by a team celebration at Dave & Buster's.

Today, no wo. Shoving dinner down, then headed to the 8th grade awards presentation.

Belinda- Ouch! Take care of that back. Have you been helping DH too much lately?

Karen - Haven't decided what I'm doing yet, either. Still taking it day by day, but gotta start with the weights.

Heidi - Are you hanging in there?

Why are mondays always so hard? (hard to get out of bed that is!) I eventually rolled out of it and did 25 minutes of Mindy's Cycle Strong (couldn't believe the sweat I got on!) When I got home from work I did a 25 minute rodney yoga flexibility dvd and took the pup for a walk.

Now I've gotta get my "treat" bags together for my last PIYO class with my crew. :(

Sherry - Good job getting your run in! Are you thinking of STS again???

Belinda - We have a large yard compared to our neighbors. DH is trying to get rid of all of the grass. lol I hope your back feels better soon! Maybe after a good sleep it will be back to normal. :(

Today is one of those one day travel days. I did think that I'd be able to get in a wo, but just as I arrived at the airport, my flight wa delayed. Now bummed 'cause not sure there is enough time to get it in. :(

Karen - at least you did something! Great job! Not sure about STS. DH would like to start P90X . . . Again . . . we've never made it through a whole rotation, and sometimes he sticks with it better if we do it together, so I don't know.

Belinda - how's you back? Is it better and you are taking a rest day?

Heidi - what are your plans?

Very busy last 5 days! Work issues.... ARGH!

Anyway no workouts this friday or over the weekend. :( Monday I started BH! Day 5 DONE!
today was a bike w/o and med ball abs.

I have DOMS in my hamstrings! Shoulders are feeling it as well. I only used 5's to start and then when he dropped the weights I went to 3's for the remaining exercises. TOO MUCH SHOULDER WORK! I can't do his workouts back to back. So I will alternate with cardio days doing cycle, runs or step routines. ;)

Tomorrow's plan: BH total body transformation.

Sherry: Argh! That figures on the travel issues. :( Maybe if you get to the hotel in time?

On your rotation plans: Oh you can do it! Your time will free up so that you and your DH can do a rotation together. I think that is great that he will follow along with DVD's. ;) Mine won't HAHA! Maybe I should say he hasn't given it a try to see what it's all about. I really think he would like it in the long run and get in some great workouts too. :)

Karen: Your days sound a lot like mine....especially MONDAY'S ARGH! Good job getting in your yoga and a walk with the pup. :) At least that is a good way to end a hectic day.

Belinda: How are you doing? How is your DH doing these days? Which rotation are you following now? Are you doing JM?

Just a quick checkin....

Yesterday AM I did Hiit 40/20. Then in the PM I had my last PIYO class with my girls. We went out for eats/drinks afterwards and had a fun time. I got home and DH and I took the pup for another walk as well. This morning I was too pooped so I slept in. My plan is to do a quick yoga dvd tonight.

Just 2 more days until the wisdom teeth are pulled. YikeS!

Haven't worked out since Sunday. I did do 20 min Back Care yoga w/Rodney Yee and a 20 min walk last night, if you can call that a workout? Don't know what I did on Sunday to my back, but it's hurting like hell. My husband thinks I pinched a nerve in my lower back:confused: I was doing Intensity on Sunday, felt a sharp pain in my back...instead of stopping I kept going:confused::rolleyes: now I am paying for it. I had to promise DH that I won't workout. The last time I was in so much pain was, when I slipped my disc in Germany:mad: i really hope it's just a pinched nerve. I will take it easy for the next few days, if it doesn't get better with muscle relaxers/heat I will see a doc for my back.

You all doing a great job with your workouts, keep it up! Wished I could work out too:(

Heidi - I am not following any rotations right now, i was gonna start BH this week...but I don't see that happening:mad:

Karen - thinking about you on Friday.

Sherry - safe travels! How long will you be gone?

Heidi - BH's wo's are really that intense? Even aftwer doing Cathe weight work? Now you are scaring me. We'll see if DH sticks with a rotation. He usually likes to do his own thing after a short while. I mind doing weight work with him, but not cardio - soemtime he gets a bit off and it can be dangerous. :)

Karen - 2 wo's yesterday - you deserve to go out and take a rest day. Sounds like fun. Think we may have to friend Cindy on FB to see the pics she took at the RT - then again maybe I don't want to see them. :)

Belinda - maybe you should go get your back checked out. I'm concerned about you. I agree with DH on this one - no wo's, especially while it's still bothering you. I know, not what you want to hear.

Yesterday - wo was sprints thru the Atlanta airport. It was a one day trip that turned into quite the adventure. After delays, cancellations, rerouting, and changing planes, I made it home sometime after 1 am. Exhasuted.

today - the actual sprints I was scheduled to do. 3.5 miles total followed by iStretch Athletic 20 min. I have such great runs late in the day. :)

Oh Belinda! Sorry to hear about your back. Please get it checked to be sure it isn't a slipped disc or worse. :( Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it is just a pulled muscle! Get well soon!

Sherry: Argh! Why can't they make travel easier? Seems like such a hassle to go any where these days unless you run there. LOL! I tell DH I would rather drive, bike or run then take a plane. HATE PLANES! I have to be incontrol....you know what I mean?

The BH workout on Monday got me good for sure! Still feeling my hamstrings so I plan on more stretching today.

I never got in my yoga last night. I got home and DH had the kayak setup. He wanted to take it out on the river for a trial run (he is taking a 3 week kayaking trip the end of june - solo). So while he was paddling, me and the pup walked down the parkway. OMG, that dog was annoying me! There must have been a crap load of different smells that he caught on to and all he did was pull. augh!! I finally just sat down on a bench and tied him to a bike rack while I read my book! Then another couple came down the trail and had our "twin" puppy!! So cute seeing the two of them and the same mannerisms.

Last night I had horrible dreams about my future teeth pulling! Obviously I am nervous.... I did drag myself out of bed though and managed to pull out Cardio Supersets with Cathe (and a spider that was exploring the basement wall!).

Sherry - I think you are right - we should friend Cyndi! I know she took alot of photos of us. :)

Heidi - What do you have planned today? I hope your hamstrings are feeling better. I noticed yesterday (and today) that my calves hurt and I can't figure out why...

Belinda - Did you get any stretches in to work that kink out of your back?

Summer classes start next week (one already kind of started this week). Not looking forward to it, but it will help pass the time while DH is gone thats for sure!

I am thinking of you and wish you a speedy recovery after your tooth surgery!

Today I did itread 3 40 min as a walker/jogger. Working my way back up to running. Taking it easy on my foot to see how it responds. I followed up with stretch max 3 w/the band. That felt awesome!

Off to shower and work.

Hi all!

Back home again! So nice to get to sleep in my own bed tonight.

Tonight's wo was a dog walk of course - she's nuts when I get home - and Cardio Supersets Step Premix. Needed to get the legs worked out after hours in a car. They are feeling better now.

Karen - The teeth will be fine. Really. Good luck with it. As for spiders, way too many this time of year - inside and out. Can't seem to do anything without finding one. Really giving me the creeps. BTW - whatcha readin? Not a school book, I hope.

Heidi - Glad your foot is feeling good enough to try jogging again. I'm trying to take the traveling in stride, otherwise I'd be a wreck. Exercise is helping. And I'm doing a much better job of stretching after running, which is keeping any knee issues at bay.

Belinda - Let us know how you are!

Time to kick back and relax for a short bit - reading. Just finished the latest Sookie book - Deadlocked - and starting Lover Reborn - of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
