Just finished XT legs standing portion. PHEW! Felt it right from the warm-up! YUP I have DOMS in my upper and lower from yesterdays workout.

Later today I have a TM workout planned.

Morning girls,

Today I will do cardio, not sure what yet? I have an ear infection since I am back from vacation I been avoiding to take antibiotics (I always have some on hand) but think I need it…..my entire side of my face/ear is swollen up( On top of everything else, it's snowing like crazy. We are covered in snow and all the government is closed, can't even go to see my doc on Fort Dietrich. Arrr…..Walter Reed is an 1:45 min away

Heidi - nice job on your leg workout! Must be a great lower body workout, if you felt dome right away. I haven't open my Xtrain set yet:eek:

Sherry - what did you do yesterday? Yesterday I started the STS rotation you posted. Are you in?

Hi Belinda: OI sorry to hear about sinus infection. :/ hope you can get your meds soon.
It's snowing here too. Not ready for this stuff just yet... Lol!

I have some good DOMS going head to tie today. So I just did a 2 mile hilly run and stretch.

Sherry: hoe are you doing? You must be busy with work and running your kids to their games etc.
I looked up that clean eating magazine. It's not available just yet online so I will have to wait and see what you think of the recipes...when you get a chance to try them out.

Hey Gals!

Sunday night I got a bit of a bug. So, no wo at all on Monday, and nothing today either, as I have a headache along with other minor aches all over. I do think that by tomorrow morning I should be all good, so setting the alarm for a short run in the a.m.

BFFM - Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - shipped today, so I should get in any day. Looking forward to how it will assist me in the eating department.

Clean Eating - no, still haven't tried the recipes. But did use a can of chicken broth instead of just water today in the crock pot and it came out moister. Not sure why on that, but it was good.

STS - yes, I'm in. I'll start tomorrow night. I was thinking about a month of XTrain first, but now that Cathe has announced the Chicago road trip, I need to start STS now to have it done by then. I'll mix up the cardio, with some runs and some Cathe.

Regarding the road trip - would love to have you gals join us! I am anticipating that both Karen and I make it in.

Belinda - So sorry about the ear infection - You must be miserable. Hopefully you can get to a doc closer to home. Cold here, too, very cold, but not really snow yet.

Heidi - Nice job getting in a run the day after XTrain Legs. I hear you about work taking up too much time. Fortunately, it's quieter for me.

No workout yesterday and today Ended up in the ER at Walter Reeds this morning. My ear is so infected, I couldn't sleep on my right side last night, swallowing food hurts and my lymph notes are the size of a golf ball.The ER doctor sent me right away to the ENT clinic. The ENT doc cleaned and put a wick in my ear and checked out my sinus. I have to go back to the ENT next Wednesday.

Sherry - OH NO!!! How are you feeling today? Feel better soon. Hopefully I get D2 and D3 in this week. Are you planing to go to the Chicago RT?

Heidi - fantastic job on your run and leg workout. We had so much snow yesterday at 5", crazy!

Belinda - Oh no! Hope the docs helped you feel better. Please rest as needed!

As for me, woke up with a headache this morning, so no run early this morning. Pretty much had the headache all day, but fortunately it waned as the day went on. I think that's the last of the bug i got. Finally feeling good around 9:00 tonight, but that was a bit late to start D1, so for the next 3 days, I'll need to do the 1st three discs. Doable, but boy will I be feeling it.

However, despite the headache, I was able to sign up for the Chicago RT. Karen did, too. Would love to have you gals join us if you could!

Hitting the hay early tonight. Hope we're all feeling better tomorrow.
 
Finally! A WO this week! STS D1 is in the bag! I know I'll be feeling that tomorrow.

Thanks for all good well wished and concern. Means a lot to me. Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I was in tears all day long. Ended up going back to the ENT today. Couldn't take the pain anymore! I am having sharp pain in my ear since they put in the wick/tubing Wednesday. I was in tears all day yesterday, the meds the doc gave me didn't work at all. I felt like somebody is stabbing me in my ear with an ice pick all day and all night long. I am running a fever every day. The wick made my ear worst, the ENT doc had to take it out. I didn't released he put a tube in my ear on Wednesday too.DH told me what he pulled out off my ear today. I do feel a little better since the tube/wick is out, but still have those sharp pain/swelling. He gave me very strong pain meds, haven't slept through the night since my vacation I hope I get a good night sleep tonight. Putting my head on the pillow hurts, laying on my right side hurts.

Sherry - how are you feeling? Any better?

Heidi - how are you doing?

I will rest this week, hopefully I am good as new on Monday. Take care, everyone. Good job on your workouts. I will check in tomorrow.

Oh so sorry to hear your both dealing with colds and infections etc. ARGH!

Sherry: Glad you are feeling a bit better and was able to get in STS disc 1. ;)

Belinda: :( Just awful for you lately. So sorry and I hope that it passes soon. Ear infections and sinus infections are the worst. Sleeping like that is almost impossible. Elevating your upper back and head in bed is the only solution. Do you have one of those angle type pillow?
I do hope you get well soon and the meds and pain killers do their job fast!

I didn't workout Thursday just too busy.

Yesterday I did Flex Train. Feeling it all over just right today. I am planning on a run for today.

Goal is try for 3 total body workouts a week and running in-between. Workout at least 5 days a week. So this week I have already met my goal. :) Happy with that.

Sherry: I keep looking up recipes and planning but don't end up at the grocery store for the ingredients. LOL! How bad is that? I hope you get a chance to check out some CE recipes soon. Would love to hear how you liked them.

Snow Storm has started here.... 6-10" expected

Workout is complete:

CrossFire timesaver Low Impact. Used this as my warm-up before my run. Saved stretch for the end of my run.

Run: Pasitano Italy. ;) From ifit workouts. 4.5 miles. Had very high inclines up to 10% worked my glutes good. LOL!

Off to weekend chores. have a great Saturday!

Hi all!

Oh Belinda - I hope you are doing better. That is just awful. I hope those meds have kicked in by now. Please rest and take care of yourself.

Heidi - Like your wo goals. Great job getting some done. Are those iFit runs something you purchase to go w/ tm or are they online? Great way to add some variety. I'm sure it did work those glutes good.

As for me, Friday was an off day. We got signals mixed, so I ended up having no time in the evening to wo, which was ok, because I was feeling it in the pecs and shoulders. Biceps were even a little sore - and bicep DOMS are unusual.

Saturday was supposed to be D2 - Back and Triceps, but that turned out to be ShovelMax, which I decided was enough of a wo for those muscles. I think we have 6-7" right now, with in continuing to gently fall for a bit longer for another 1-2". And, I'm the only one who gets to shovel right now: DH twisted his ankle playing soccer, DS has piles of HW here in the week before break, and DD strained her wrist, probably from that heavy backpack she carries.

Today is laundry, groceries, Christmas shopping, a soccer game for DD, more ShovelMax and hopefully a leg wo - D3.

Oh Sherry! That is a workout for sure. Perfect timing on things huh? LOL! Well I hope your DH gets well soon and your DD lightens her back pack load. Good luck to your DS with his finals. That is big time stress for kids for sure.

Today was just shovel max and house stuff. Lucky me we had all hands on deck to shovel this very heavy wet snow that is freezing fast. I think we got at least 4-6.. Feeling my oblique's and back good now. Tomorrow I will do XT All out Low impact.

The ifit programs are online. I have a one year free subscription that came with the module that snaps into my DD's TM. She is storing it here so I thought WHY NOT get full use of the thing. HEHE :)

Good morning,

Thanks girls, I am doing a little better. Still have some swelling/pain in my ear. The meds made me very sick on Saturday, had to stop taking it:( Wednesday I have an appointment at the ENT clinic.

So Saturday we got an message from my friend in El Paso, that her son passed on Dec 11:( We are in shock. He was hospitalized with a high fever? So sad!

Heidi - looks like you getting lots of upper body workout in with shovel max:p I have to check out that run program, looks like fun. WTG, with your workouts.

Sherry - how far are you with STS? I think I will start fresh this week. Already missed 2 day's. Great job with your workouts.

Belinda so glad your feeling a little better. So sorry to hear of your friends son passing. So scary because you just never know.. So sad and sounds like he was fairly young too. Hugs to all!

Belinda: He was the age of my DD and Son. Truly sad and a shock to all.

Nice job on STS D1. How are your arms doing? ;)

Today I did:
X 10 circuits. It was a good sweat for 30min. After I did a 30min. TM w/o. Also a good one!

This was day 1 this week I have to stick to my plan of getting in at least 5 w/o's a week.
;0 Last week I did 6. :)

Sherry: How are you doing? You must be crazy busy as usual.

Good afternoon,

STS D2 and extended stretch is done! I don't think I have time tomorrow do to this one, so I did it today instead.

Heidi, he was my kids age:( I am still in shock! Very sad! Good job today and getting all your workouts in this week. I hope I get 5 in this week:eek:

This is quick 'cause it's late.

No wo except for shoveling. Got another couple of inches tonight. This time of year is crazy. Thinking about doing an XTrain rotation since there are so many short premixes which might work with my (lack of) time better. I haven't had the hour for STS this week.

Belinda - Glad you are starting to feel better. So sorry about your friend's son. That is so young.

Heidi - Great job getting in a wo and a run!
