Getting it done for August!!!

Workout is done! My abs are on fire from yesterday's wo and today's!

Hey Belinda! Wow great job on your ab burner workout. :) I didn't get to do my CSS as planned yesterday. I ended up at the ATT store to get a microcell cell phone amplifier so MY PHONE WORKS AT MY HOUSE! I missed or lost a very important businss call and I couldn't sleep tues night over it. So frustrated!
We hooked the microcell up last night and I have full bars and service now! FINALLY!
A little late though...:(

Today I am dragging big time. I woke with a headache which I went to bed with last night. So I am hanging around doing paperwork and laundry today. Not much else going on for work at this point.
When I am feeling better I will try a cycle workout. Maybe if I do that I will feel l better and less stressed.

Have a great workout with tri lower! HAHA! Oh man do I ever have DOMS! Legs, butt and my upper are fried from the last couple workouts I did. Just as well I took yesterday off from CSS I guess. ;)

Hi all!

I got in a run today! Yay! Was a very easy run, but I let Coach Sean talk me thru CCV1 to 3 miles done. I finished with iStretch Athletic 20 min. I'll let you know how it feels in the morning.

Heidi & Belinda - you are both putting me to shame! Way to go on your workouts!

YEAH SHERRY! Nice job on your run yesterday! :) How are those legs today? How is your knee issue? Keep up with the stretches for sure!

Don't be to hard on your self about your missing a workout here and there. You are one busy lady for sure! :)

Hi all!

Yesterday was one of those driving days for work, so no wo, but also no knee pain! Other than tight hamstrings the next morning, legs felt good. So glad I took it easy.

Today is need to get in a run, which will hopefully be in between running around. Shipping the kids and DH off to cc camp for a few days, so need to get laundry done and make sure they have enough stuff - socks, snacks, etc. - to take with them.

Was a bit frustrated by how pants were fitting (a bit tighter?) and got on the scale - not good. So while they are gone, I should be able to focus on my own eating and exercising. Will just need the willpower not to bring junk into the house!

Belinda - What did you decide on for cardio today? Are you thinking about another elliptical, or not at all? Hope you got in some rest, too. I'm sure you are worn out from all the work you are doing on the house.

Heidi - Yeah for the cell phone amplifier! Boo for the headache. Don't like it when the days start off like that. How are those LB DOMs doing today?

I ended up doing Step Max. Never done that one before, was lots of fun. Not very high impact, which I needed today.

Sherry - I hear you on the scale. Mine isn't kind either. You would think with all that working out we do, we have no problem:eek: Arr...Hope you get your run in today. We will get another elliptical, we will go to a sports store so we can try a few out before we buy another one.

I need to cook dinner. I will be back in the morning. Good night, girls!

My legs were still sore from tri lower yesterday! Lol! That really got me good!

OK! My workout for today was Low Impact Circuit. an oldie but goodie!
PHEW! This was a real sweat fest! LOL!

Morining everyone,

It was a tough hike yesterday, all uphill. LOL! It was fun!

Heidi - good job on LIC, that's a good one.
I posted about the elliptical a few weeks ago, lol. Nothing was working right. So DH and I decidet to sent it back rather than going through the pain of every week or so to have a tech come out and fix it.

Sherry and Karen, have a wonderful weekend.

Friday I did get in my run - yay! :D

Saturday was no wo. DS was working on his Eagle project and DD was at soccer ref training, so all I did was run people around, get extra supplies and food, do laundry and finally in the evening go shopping with all of them for last minute items for their trip. ;)

Today, I shipped them all off to cc camp for the week. House is now peacefully quiet. I plan to get in a run today, too, but nowhere near the 2-a-days or distances that they'll all be doing this week. I'm sure DH will tell me all about every ache and pain when he gets home. :)


Belinda - Glad you enjoyed your hike. I love pulling out some of the old wo's - Step Max is a good one - the choreography doesn't get you too bad, but doesn't it have some plyo at the end?

Heidi - LIS is another good one, though I think my memory of the choreography is a little rusty. If I tried that one, I might be missing a few beats.

Off to relax a bit - take the dog for a walk, and who knows what else. Catch up with you later.

Goal this week: while everyone else is gone this week, I want to start the habit of waking early (~5) and getting in part of a wo - probably 30 min of cardio. I'll save weights and running for later in the day.

Sherry - your weekend sounds like mine, nothing but work. Enjoy your peaceful and quiet house. Step Max did had some plyo at the end, wasn't that bad. I do like rotating all my dvds. Now it is getting cooler outside, nice taking wolks. Good job on your run.

Hi Sherry! Oh that sounds like a great plan! I wish we lived closer because I was thinking of doing just that with adding some walks in on top of my regular weight routine. ;)

PUB (DOWN)
then an endurance cycle workout for 45min. Just about 15miles worth. :)

Belinda: How did you do with CF? :) I am with you on the cooler weather. I can't wait! I about melt in the heat/humidity.

WO's are done! Earlier today I did Insanity Fast & Furious to get me rolling. This evening I did dog walks, Lower Body Sculpt, Stab Ball Abs & Total Body Stretching. I think that's enough for today.

Rest of the week looks like this:

mornings: HiiT cardio

evenings:
Mon: Stretch & LB strength
Tues: Run
Wed: Crosstrain
Thurs: Run & LB Strength
Fri: Rest
Sat: Crosstrain
Sun: Long run

Knees are feeling great today, and I wasn't even that stiff this morning. Go figure.


Belinda - More painting? I'd think you be done with that house by now! LOL! Nice job on your wo's today. We all must be needing the stretching - we all keep posting them.

Heidi - Are you joining me for some cardio tomorrow morning? Loving this cooler weather - love sleeping with the windows open, plus my runs are soooo much better.

Today is STS M2 W1 (UB disc of choice)! I also need to work my abs.

Sherry - your rotation looks good. With over 4000 sqft house, it's a lot of painting:D Like I said, we still have one bedroom, the kitchen , the basement which btw is huge and the foyer. We still have lots of painting to do. I am not doing the bedroom (yet?), my husband and son started on the ceiling and closet yesterday. It is a lot to painting if you paint everyting....doors, trims, ceiling, closets. Cover the pop nails. I told my husband I would never do it again, get a house that size and fix it up. New anytime:p

I hear ya on the endless painting to be done! ;) We built our house in two stages and it has yet to get finished. I totally agree with you on buying finished! I wish I could hire a crew and get it done ASAP!
Anyway.... ;)

Hi ladies,

Disc 13, chest/shoulder & triceps are done. I also did the Ext.stretch.

Heidi - I we did hire a painter, he didn't do a good job:eek: I figure, if I pay over $ 10.000..that is how much he was gonna charge us for painting our 4000 sqft house:rolleyes: not cheap by all means! Nobody here in WV is going to to it cheaper:rolleyes: My point is for that kinda money, I want it perfect..not just a half a$$ job;) The paint isn't that expensive so far we only spent a little over $500 so far, it's time consuming. But at the end it's all good.:D
