Hi all!

Today has been a bit busy. The day started off getting an oil change, and new tire (thank you pot holes) and ships repaired in the windshield, taking longer than planned, so I ended up at the grocery store at midday when everyone else was there. I did get in D2 afterwards, and before I headed to the airport to get DS, whose flight was 40 minutes early. He wanted pepperoni pizza, something he didn't get while gone, not exactly the clean eating dinner. I did get in dog walks, but I also wanted to get in a run, since it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow. I'm going to rest for a bit and see if I get a second wind.

Belinda - Weekend, so P90X3 early? Nice job. Did you get in the GS's too?

Heidi - Waving hi!

That's it. Time to chill for a bit.

Just finished GS Chest & Triceps! Had an awesome afternoon with Aleisa, we tea at the Historic Rosemont Manor.

Sherry - wow, you had a busy day today. Nicely done with D2 and walking your dog. Don't worry about that pizza, you will work it off.

Heidi - I ended up doing a barre workout instead of cardio. Tracey Mallet Booty Barre. Nice job on Cardio Superset. How was AOLHiiT today?

Good morning!

Time to get in a run today, before the rain starts, but I need to eat first - no energy yet (probably the pizza last night).

Logging my food intake this week has really let me know where we indulge. With the kids back to school this week, that should get us back on track. I did get lots of clean food yesterday, so this should be a really good week. Dinner tonight will be a turkey breast (on sale big time) and there will be plenty left over for another meal plus lunches.

Belinda - Great job on the GS's last night. Wonderful that you got to spend time with your DD yesterday.

Heidi - what have you been up to lately?

Time to get some food, start the laundry, and get in that run. BBL!
 
Morning! Happy Sunday to you both!

Yesterday was a rest day from workouts. I didn't rest I can tell you that! Yard workout most of the day....by 5pm I was so sore and exhausted I crashed for a nap until 8pm!
Got up ate and watched some movie with DH then hit the sack to get up by 6am this morning.

X3 cool start
a 2.20 Mile run steady state at 5.5
X3 Dynamix. Loved that stretch out! :)

Sherry: Glad your Son is home safe and sound. Nice job on your workout!

Belinda: Great job on your workout! Sounds like a fun day with your DD. ;)

Good morning,

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. Ended up taking a rest day! DH and I went and bought some vegetables plants for my vegetable garden. I will make only a small veg garden

Today's workouts is : B&G premix: Overall Legs and abs and tonight P90X3 Accelerator.

Sherry - glad logging your food is helping. Good job with your workouts.

Heidi - I was very exhausted this weekend too:eek: I was sleeping/falling a sleep very early too:eek: Did you plant something in your yard? Good job, with your workouts.

Good morning!

Yesterday ended up being an intense cleaning day. After finishing the inside, we went outside to capitalize on the warm and not-yet raining weather. Well, the rain never came, do we kept going. It was the first real chance to get outside, and I was thoroughly exhausted last night, and have quite the aches today. D4 on tap for tonight - think that will work the kinks out?

Heidi - looks like you are doubling up on wo's. High five to ya! Did that wear you out, too? After all that work, how does your yard look?

Belinda - I'm sure you'll enjoy those fresh veggies! I'm not planting anything yet- snow in the forecast for tonight, 1-3 inches. Yes, logging my food is helping. I did a bit more planning for the week to keep the calories/macronutrients in check.

Belinda: Have a great workout! I just finished the accelerator workout. PHEW! Donkey kicks were very awkward! LOL!

We have been cleaning up the yard and trimming the fruit trees mainly. I will plant veggies in May.

Sherry: Oh I hear ya on the endless house and yard stuff to get done! We had rain yesterday... it wasn't suppose to rain... :/ anyway so it was house stuff yesterday.
I was so wiped out Saturday!!! So hear ya on that!

Today was warm up with XT disc 1.
Then X3 Accelerator
topped off with another run today. this run was an interval run.

I have been missing my runs so it was going to happen no matter what! :)

Heidi - holy crap, you did a lot this morning. I will do that one tonight:p I modify on that one, do the kicks on a chair:p If I go down on the floor, it kills my back:eek: What kind veggie are you planting? I am new at this:)

Sherry - cleaning is a workout and it has to be done, right? I haven't plant anything yet, we also get some snow:mad: What's up with this weather this year? I bought some plants at Home Depot, they were on sale.

Belinda your rotation planned looks hardcore! Heidi - I almost started the rotation you are following this last week. However, I decided to join Sherry with STS. Hopefully we can motivate each other and Sherry can finally say she did it all the way through! :eek:

After Sherry and Belinda twisted my arm (ouch) to get back to the check in I decided I could handle a weekly check in. So I won't be posting as frequently as in the past - but anything is better than nothing, right?

I got back on MFP with a push from Sherry a couple of weeks back (BTW - missed you girls at the Chicago road trip!). I truely hate counting calories, however in doing so I have managed to drop a few pounds by being much more aware of how much I'm eating. So I will continue with that.

Here is last weeks workout breakdown:

Monday - REST
Tuesday - STS M1 Disc1
Wednesday- Hiit 40/20 + TF Abs AM - PIYO Strength PM
Thursday- M1 Disc 2
Friday- RIDE + Abs

Karen: AWESOME JOB ON YOUR WORKOUTS! Nice mix! Glad to have you back with us too! :)

For my rotation mix I am doing x3 lean and following XT and LIS rotation. This is the first week using x3 so my rotation schedule is still being sorted out. I am on Week 5 of the XT and LIS one however.
X3 Lean rotation has a lot of cardio...sort of like doing Cardio Super Sets etc. plus good stretching routines.
I haven't used weights yet for x3 so I am glad that I am sticking with XT. :)

Looking to lose a couple extra pounds and get a defined six pack abs. LOL!

Heidi - you are doing the P90X3 Lean rotation? What week are you on? The lean rotation is mostly cardio/stretching. The Classic rotation has weight workouts in the rotation. I am in week 2. WTG, on all your workouts today.

WO done - decided to do Turbo Barre. By 9:00, when I could work out, I didn't' want hi intensity cardio or heavy weights. I think that was just right. Also got in a dog walk (that was earlier) and planks.

Trying to really watch my eating, and getting the desired protein actually takes effort. If I could keep meat in the house that would be easier, but I have active teenagers so . . . that means I'm drinking lots of protein shakes. I've also been adding some ground flax seed.

Karen - Yay! You dropped by. We'll see you when you can here.

Belinda - Rockin' it as usual. How are you rotating GS's? Looks like a bit of undulation if you are doing them that close.

Heidi - Doing both XT/LIS and P90X3? Are you going to keep running in the mix, too? Awesome!

Forgot to post this morning's workout:I ended up doing Turbo Fire EZ55, instead of LIC premix: cardio blast I just did the Blast one 2 weeks ago, need to mix things up. Or I get bored. Tonight I will do P90X3 YogaX. Love that one.


BTW, Totalfitness is having a Easter Sale tomorrow I don't need anymore workout dvd's:roll eyes: LOL!

After work today, walked the dog, did sprints on the tm, went to DD's soccer game which was very darn cold, came home and got in a stretch and planks. Now exhausted and want to go to bed.

Belinda - Great mix up today! Yes, definitely don't want to get bored by doing the same thing over and over, or in my case it seems to be sticking with a rotation as written. Nice cardio and stretching for you.

Yesterday was a rest day. I spent the day getting my DVD's into Amazon for sale.

Today:
Basic Step
Then P90X3 CVX (I loved that one!) used 5#wt.

I am going to try out my DVD's I have for sale to make sure that they all run smoothly. So adding this in with my X3 rotation.

Belinda: Nice job on your workouts. I like mixing it up for the same reason. ;)

Sherry: I got the same surprise with the rain one day and waking up yesterday with SNOW! Where did that come from! It is very cold here today as well. What happened to Spring?
Nice job on your sprints and stretch with planks. Are you noticing a difference in your abs from the plank work?
