Getting Discouraged . . .

with this big ole belly. LOL. I am having problems doing certain excercises due to my ever growing belly. My belly is getting in the way for:
front and static lunges
leg presses off the high step
knee lifts
front kicks
shoulder flyes done sitting down, well basically most things done sitting on the high step.

What areas are you experiencing difficulities in?
 
Even though I'm not as far as you, I'm definatley feeling big. This go around I'm WAY more belly at the stage than last time. I have a hard time with:

lunges - well going deep that is
shoulder flies
steps in Low Max going up and over on the step - um... it seems as my perception of length has wained over this pregnancy!
deadlifts

? - Have you lowered your step for leg presses, cause that seemed to work for me.

Don't get to discouraged (easier said that done!), your doing something healthy for you and baby! If this stuff is to much for you - speed walk, and you'll still get great benefits! :)
 
This is my first so I have no clue if I am carrying low or am just being a wimp but I tried Low Max last week and could not do hardly anything. My belly gets in the way of anything I try to do with my legs.

I could not even bend down to get something off of the bottom shelf at the grocery store without spreading my legs. How embarassing. I guess I should not wear skirts when grocery shopping :)

I am just going to stick with walking and prenatal yoga DVDs. And being wonderfully lazy!
 
Oh Dana, I had problems with all of the exercises you just mentioned!!!! I lowered my step height of leg presses and just adjusted everything else to suit me as well. I know it's frustrating but hang in there! :)
