This High-intensity interval training workout alternates between intense periods of hard exercise followed by a very short rest. The intervals are random meaning the rest periods will vary with some intervals being longer than others. We will also vary our tempos meaning sometimes we'll work to the beat of the music and sometimes we won't. Be prepared to do 14 cardio intervals that will continue to burn fat for many hours after your workout has ended. This is known as the afterburn effect and is one of the main reasons why HiiT workouts are so effective.
Though cardio based HiiT workouts can produce some amazing results, they are very tough on the body and therefore should be limited to three, non-consecutive days per week. Be sure to combine these Hiit workouts along with my resistance training videos and other less intense cardio workouts.
