Hi! I am trying to figure out when I can go and vote today...
We had a 70th surprise birthday party for my dad on Saturday, so I have been busy with that. I saw my sister, and I had her look at my "belly", and she said not to worry-it WILL go down. It's been 4 weeks, and it still looks like I am pregnant. There is a lumpy part above my belly button, and I asked the midwife about it the last time I was there. She said it is probably my bowels. My sister said that if it were my bowels, I wouldn't be able to poop, and it would be so painful (it's not). She thinks it's either hardened fat (yeah), or my ab muscles that were pushed out. I carried the baby all in the front-it was freaky. Could it be that distassis recti (I know I butchered the name of it) thing that has to do with ab muscles separating? My sis suggested that I do Turbo Jam, Zumba, things like that to work my core without doing crunches. Any advice? I am sick of looking like a freak!
I even saw my friend yesterday, who had a c/s 3 weeks before me, and she made a comment, "Did you dr. say when that will go down?" Ahhhh!!!
I did do TJ yesterday, but only very low impact, and it felt good! Oh, by the way, I got weighed at my allergist's office last Friday, and I am 145! I need to lose 30 pounds to get down to my pre-preg weight. I do have my work cut out for me!
Aidan and Andy are doing well! Aidan is sleeping in his crib, but wakes up often during the night. He's getting better. On Sunday, he nursed 18 times!!! My poor boobs!
Kate-My DH and I don't really do anything for Christmas for each other either. It did get kind of silly!
Steph-Let me know how you like the DVD-I did check it out online, and I'm curious!
Anyone hear from Lisa?
Hi Candra and Lisa Marie! Hi to Kristin, Morris and Maggie!
