Get it out of my head....

thoughts that I can't do more than a few push ups. If you can bench at least 50 then there is no excuse, right? That is where I am at and I am going to go for 55 today instead because I feel like a raging maniac today!
I just have to learn to cry more thru my workouts to reach my goal for push ups. LOL
Anyone else want to release some negativity while embracing some motivation?

Charlotte, maybe if you spread your hands wider apart you could do more push ups, & then work your way to the more traditional position. Another option is supersetting them w/a bench press (something I used to do & am considering doing again). Like, do 5 pushups & five presses. Another option is to just do 6 sets of five until you can work your way up to 3 sets of 10, or whatever your goal is.

Be careful upping your weights w/the bench press, unless you have someone to spot you. I don't want to be reading about you in the paper tomorrow.
 
You give some good advice, sounds like a good idea! And no you won't be reading about me in the paper tomorrow...I will make sure of that! LOL LOL

Yes, Charlotte...there is an excuse! I don't know what it is, but there is one.


I bench well over 50 pounds and can't do that many push ups either, full body. It is not that simple, I know.

I just don't know the real reason. :)
