Good Morning All :)

Today was MIC. I woke up late and could not get up!!!! So I ended up only doing the hi/lo. It wasn't as hard as I remembered, and would have liked to have done the whole workout. Oh well....

As of 7:41am, no rotation from Cathe. This is the first time in a long time she hasn't posted a rotation on the first day of the month. Maybe a happy announcement is on the way instead :)

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Today is my long day, but hopefully I will BBL,

Deanie

Good Morning DMT!!

Today was MIC and I have to say that the hi/lo portion was harder than the step. My arches on my feet started to hurt a little after all of the jumping in hi/lo. It was a good workout. Burned 440 calories.

Deanie--I saw your post yesterday about the BFL. I am not sure I could do the Pyramids for 4 weeks straight!!:p I might really get tired of it. This is what I understood about the BFL program: 3 20 min. intense cardio/week and 3 45 min. weight sessions/week (alternating upper and lower body days). Does that sound right?

I was also surprised to not see an October rotation yet. I was on the collagevideo site yesterday and they list Cathe's new workouts as having an Oct. 3 expected release date.

Marcy--DWTS tonight!:7

Tracee--Have a great day!

Gin:)

Good morning ladies. I always miss you guys over the weekend but during the weekend I can't stand the thought of getting on the computer at home. I think because I sit in front of a computer all week I just have no desire to look at one when I'm at home.

Today turned out to be a yoga day for me. I did Baron Baptiste dvd that I have and it was good. I don't feel all that comfortable doing yoga yet so it's not something that I reach for too often. I haven't decided what I'm doing tomorrow but I need to plan it out or I'll blow it off.

I just checked the rotation threads and nothing from Cathe. I wonder when she'll post something?

Hope you all had a good weekend. We had great weather and the only bad thing was that my washing machine broke. :-(

Good Afternoon Ladies!

Today was Hardcore Extreme Interval Circuit. I burned 509 calories! I enjoyed it but felt it was a little too much cardio for me. It had IMAX 3 warmup, Intervals 1,2,4,5,9 and 10 plus the High Step Challenge cardio from cycles 1,2 and 3. I skipped the 2nd set of leg presses (was running out of time).

My dance workshop was fun. We learned 5 dances in 3 hours. The choreographer that came is so much fun to learn with. He's real wacky but a lot of fun and he went superfast through all the dances. There was one lady I felt bad for because she was a beginner and she felt she was wasting her time but I just told her to get up and try and get whatever she could. Picking steps up comes very easily to me but I could see how frustrating it could be because he was going really fast.

I was also a little disappointed there was no October rotation but seeing how we're all a week behind, it's not as bad as if we were all finished with this month's rotation.

Deanie - I don't think I'd like to do BFL since I'm not a lover of the Pyramids and 4 weeks of it would really drive me crazy. I really only like the ab work from PUB and the stability ball work from PLB from this DVD. It drives me nuts changing weights all the time which makes me waste a lot of time.

Gin - Glad you liked MIC. Hi/lo is harder than step. Can't wait for DWTS tonight, it's mambo and quickstep. I'm rooting for Helio, Jane and Sabrina. Glad the restaurant worked out for you and the chef can make whatever you want.

Tracee - I understand totally what you mean about getting away from the computer. 35 hours a week staring at the computer is enough for me although I do miss not talking with all of you over the weekend. Sorry about your washing machine:( Hope you get a new one soon - with three kids, the laundry must be piling up.) Which Baron DVD did you do today?

BBL.

Marcy

Deanie - I like the idea of BFL but like Marcy I think I would get bored just doing the pyramids for all 4 weeks. If Cathe doesn't have a good rotation for October than I think I will do something similar to BFL. I love the idea of the short cardio especially after this rotation.

Marcy - I think the BB yoga was called power yoga but I can't remember exactly. I'm really bad about details like that and since I'm at work and can't run downstairs and look at the title I just have to guess. :)

Good Afternoon :)

Still nothing from Cathe!!!.... An Oct. 3 release date would be great, it just didn't seem like it from the blog. I really did want to see Cathes Oct. rotation before I made up my mind about what to do next. I am leaning toward BFL though.....

Gin~ Good job getting thru all of MIC. I am bummed I woke up late.

Tracee~ Sorry about your washing machine. Is soomeone able to come out soon, or is it beyond repair and you need a new one? I understand about the computer at home. I don't work with a computer, so I don't mind checking in on the weekends. In fact, I think I am conditioned to come up from my workout and log on to the computer to "talk" about my workout. :) I do miss chatting with you guys on the weekends.

Marcy~ Your dance weekend sounds fun. What kind of dance? jazz? ballet? I used to love jazz dance. From taking dance for so many years, my feet naturally fall into first position when I am standing. Do yours? What are you doing next week for the rotation, any decisions? Have I asked enough questions????:p }(

Deanie

eta: I think you could sub LL or L&G for legs with BFL, so your not always doing PLB with all the weight changes. Also, I read some people who don't have the pyramids are doing CTX upper body for upper body:) I am going to stick to the pyramids for upper and maybe sub for lower, not sure.... I like the short cardio after this rotation too.

Hi Again!

Now, Collage says October 4th for a release date!

I'm thinking I might not do MIC tomorrow after all the cardio today. Maybe just pilates, Core Max 1 and Stretch Max 1.

Deanie - Yes, my feet do fall into 1st position a lot! I thought I was the only one.:) It was a line dance workshop which includes many different styles. We did one nightclub two-step (which is a mixture of rumba and waltz), a swing number, a mambo and a two-step.

BFL: There are also the ME Upper and Lower Body Premixes or the Muscle Max Upper and Lower Body Premixes that you could do (MM Lower is only 23 minutes but the rest are between 39-44 minutes).

Someone either on OD or VF mentioned just doing yoga for strength and just pilates and leg workouts. This sounds interesting to me and they said they were a lot less stressed out. This might work out for me until the new DVDs come. They were talking about working out for your body type and if they've done it, whether it has worked for them. I know we've talked about this before. I took one test and said I was ecto-meso (which I think is more accurate) and one said I was meso-endo. For ecto-meso, I read heavy lifting for upper and non or light weight for lower and that kickboxing and pilates helped as well so I'm going to think about doing this as a possibility.

I know I'm so excited!!!!:) :) I'm in for the Oct. rotation if everyone else is. Other wise, I think I will do BFL.

Hi Again!

I like Cathe's October rotation, but I did talk about taking a "rest" week first, which would make me a week behind you guys. I would also like to use my new PS vids as a sub since I haven't been able to use them yet.

I have another screaming headache. I have an appt with a new neurologist tomorrow.

Take care,
Gin

:)

Hi!

Gin - Hope the neurologist finds out what's wrong tomorrow. I would take it easy next week. Hope you feel better soon.

I still haven't decided yet. I will hopefully make a decision by tomorrow.
