Gaul bladder help

acatalina

Cathlete
Well, I couldn't take the pain yesterday.
Doc is sending me for a sonogram of the gallbladder.
Does anyone know how to kill the pain until then?
I am dying.
My stomache and intestines feel bruised, and everything i eat is making me sick!!!
It is hard to ignore it.

didn't your doc give you something? until i got surgery they kept dosing me with tylenol 3(codiened tylenol). i was in the hostpital b/c it exploded and they couldn't get a hold of the surgeon :-( . but they usually give you something to dull the pain(it never really goes away).

2 of my friends had their gall bladders removed and I know that they were both given some type of meds. One of my friends had to watch EVERY little thing she ate. One bite of something that didn't agree with her and she was in pain the rest of the day.

When is your surgery scheduled?

Hi, I also have had problems with my gallbladder. I used a pure apple cider cleanse. It seems the acid in the apples if it is pure, dissolves the gallstones. I didn't have to have surgury but continue to take enzymes.

Could it be appendix problems? I would be very worried if it was that.

I had my gall bladder out about 3 years ago. I would have the attacks when I was riding (sitting trot) on my horse. The first time I had one, I thought I was having a heart attack and would die alone in the house (I'd crawled in, complete with my spurs still on). The pain was intense, lasting for about 1/2 hour. When it was gone, it was gone. This happened probably 4-5 times in a year, each time while riding my horse. I had my gall bladder ultrasounded also some upper GI barium tests. Turns out I had gallstones and they must have moved around or blocked a duct or something while I rode. I chose to have surgery. For me, it was not a bad deal at all. I was back riding my bike within 1 week and back on the horse in 2 weeks. The hardest was the stitch pulling on my belly button when I stood completely up (that's why cycling didn't bother it at all).

I hope you get some relief soon. Let us know.
