LAST EDITED ON Aug-27-00 AT 04:51 PM (EST)

And that's just from previewing it! Think "...hardest intervals from "Interval Max" combined with MIC."

I can hardly wait to see how I measure up! Thanks Cathe and crew for working through your weekend to finish up the orders. Then you should sit back and let yourselves be showered with well-deserved praise for once again raising the bar when it comes to fitness videos.

OK, I need another description!

I don't have either of those! Well, I have a partical of IMAX. I tape her show off of DHC. But I have no idea which intervals I'm doing(1,2,3..). Either way Circut Max is the one I want to do first when I get mine

I've not seen IM on Discovery Health, but you gotta know she would use concepts from the hardest intervals for her new series. I don't mean to suggest there is anything repetitive - but she does draw on some of her time-honored torture techniques.

As an example, the last interval in IM has a combo where you leap sideways across the floor, do two airborne jacks then jump straight up, knees together and bent (hopefully that's on DHC - it's a classic). She uses a somewhat similar move in the first circuit in Circuit Max, as the crowning touch to an INTENSE hi-lo routine. Then to top it off, when she transitions from the cardio to the weights, she makes you do squats!!!!!!

She uses the phrase "tough stuff!" frequently throughout the video - tell me about it! She also demonstrates her flair for comedy - at one point in the tape (which she does on a six inch step) she comments that if the workout isn't intense enough, you can go to a higher step - how do you make hysterical smilie faces?

The most amazing thing to me is that they filmed these 8 intense videos in a week or thereabouts! I didn't think it was possible to be any more in awe of Cathe and the cast (and crew), but just thinking about the intensity of that week leaves me breathless.

At some point when Cathe has nothing else to do (ha!), it would be interesting to know the order in which the videos were filmed (if that hasn't already been posted elsewhere).

Enjoy!

Thanks Janet!

Good Lord! It does sound hard, but I can't wait! Circut Max will be the first one for me

! I'd like to know the order that these were filmed also. Maybe next week Cathe will see this and tell us. Let me know what you think of the others

It's a toughie!

I thought the two beginning Hi/Lo sections were the hardest to get through. I kept waiting for the weight section so I could rest, then during the weights I waited for the cardio so that I could rest. Well, rest came when the tape ended!!

I forgot to take my step down to 6 inches until the last step section! I'll remember next time!! It is tough, but the time goes SO FAST! The step sections are PURE Cathe and great mixes of what we know and love. I'm excited to try the Step and Interval tape, from the preview it looks SO fun!

Hi Janet!

We have officially finished packing and shipping the pre order tapes(I don't know which was harder: This last week of intense packing, sealing, and shipping or the actual week we filmed the videos--HA!).

So glad you are having fun with these videos. As for your question, I know the first day we filmed Cardio Kicks, showered and then filmed Circuit Max. After that its just a blurr to me---YIKES!

I remember the LAST day!

I vividly remember the last day
wink.gif
We did the xpress kickbox video, had lunch, cleaned up and then last but definitely not least - Leaner legs! Good thing it was last, I was VERY sore the next day.

...You don't miss a step, you keep perfect form and you still have energy to smile (or are you grimacing

). I'll bet it was a thrill for you to film the videos.

I haven't tried Leaner (Meaner) Legs yet, too scared. From what I'm reading it's a killer and to get through it is a big accomplishment in and of itself. That you did the kickbox AND legs in one day is evidence that you all are from another planet

.

That's an idea - Hey Cathe - you should send copies of your videos out with NASA's next intergalactic probe - all the bad aliens will be scared off, all the good aliens will want to come to New Jersey to take your class in person...so to speak!

Sorry to be silly - the endorphins from "All Step" haven't worn off yet.
