Gap maternity shirts

Just curious if anyone has bought any maternity clothes from the Gap. I recently bought quite a bit of stuff, but am very surprised at how tight-fitting the tops are. I purchased my regular size (a small in most things) and am now regretting that I didn't go bigger. I don't see how some of these things will make it over my belly come April! I know "clingy" maternity shirts are in style, but the way these shirts look, I'll be able to wear them when I'm NOT pregnant!

Michelle, I bought a bunch of gap and old navy maternity stuff. I find alot of it fits now but when I stuffed a ppillow under the tops, they did seem to stretch.

Michelle, when did you go into maternity stuff? Now at almost 13 weeks, I am reaching already for my fitted maternity clothes. It is so frustrating.

I started wearing maternity probably at the 13 week mark, too. The sad part is that I'm not really showing a lot so I find people who know me, but don't know that I'm pregnant, really checking out my stomach! I'm telling everyone very quickly NOW that I'm pregnant, not just getting fat!:)

ETA: This is #3 for me, so I'm sure that has a little something to do with everything expanding a little quicker!

Hi,
Thanks Michelle. I too don't look pregnant but have a beer belly. What is so hard for me is that my clothes are usually so fitted. With #1 I barely showed the first trimester and put on minimal weight. This time the weight is just poring on, all in my belly though.

I have some Gap maternity shirts, too. After trying the tops on, I went up a size -- in the shirts and the pants actually.

The tops were all snug across the chest and in the shoulders in my regular size.

As for pants, I hate pants shopping when I'm NOT pregnant, so it's been sheer misery for me! I'm at 20 weeks and have gained 14 pounds -- I swear it's all in my bum and hips ;-)
